I never thought of those shuriken as Batarangs.

*GASP* I didn't realize that! So what was the point of making them in BB, I wonder, if he was never going to use them again?

Not only that, but what about the "distraction" smoke? Poof and he's gone? I don't think he even used it in BB!

I never realized he never 'threw' any batarangs in TDK until it was mentioned here, but those projectiles from his arm gauntlet were basically the same thing.

Halloween 2012, everyone will dress up as Anne Hathaway's Catwoman and Tom Hardy's Bane. Let it be known I called this first before the bandwaggoning begins... :brucebat:

I'll be going as the real hero of this trilogy, tonight;

Commissioner Gordon.

Yeah, batarangs are boomerangs essentially, and they should in theory return to Batman's hand. There are no batarangs proper in Begins or TDK.

I disagree..

Very few incarnations have them return, I think in Batman:AA and AC, the only one that does is the Remote Control, which you guide back.

even in comics, there usually just throw. I used to have the same line of thought that they were meant to be boomerang styled, however realistically batman..NEVER misses.

so when i mention the lack of batarang/shureken usage and lack of gauntlet usage everyone ignores me but when someone who posts all the time says it then you all jump over it?

they keep showing shots of bruce picking them up before he leaves or shots of him putting them away but he never uses them, infact in two films he has only thrown them at a freaking light bulb, and he didnt use smoke once

I guess that's true. The remote control one was the one that returned in "Batman Returns" as well.

On another note, I'm not a big fan of the shooting blades gauntlets, and I hope he returns to the traditional throwing batarangs. They need to be bigger, and not little shruiken.

LOL for a second there I thought Harvey Dent was back.

I really don't see the resemblance between the two apart from the hair. "Nixon" looks way older, his face is shaped differently... yeah, not seeing it.

And he's missing DAT CHIN. :funny:

The hair and the clothes do make them a bit similar though so I can see why they could be mistaken from afar.

Im gonna go ahead and pretend this is an official promo pic for the time being.

I'm guessing Bane's taken over the Gotham Stock Exchange and theyre trying to take it back.

Those had the traditional plot setup of Q's pivotal gadgets in James Bond, I doubt they'd be repeated in the next film.

What's up with Nixon having a gun and seemingly calling the shots in a police matter? I thought he was a politician?

While we were watching them shoot Nixon was in total. Control, in fact it seems they wait for him to come before making a move.

So he's in total control

I'm getting "Die Hard" vibes myself. Think - terrorist incident (bane), the FBI get called in, they start running the show...
