If you're in Birmingham, wouldn't it be closer to go to either Bradford or Manchester IMAX instead of London?

I wouldn't go to those two if you paid me. I value my life far too much.![]()

No, I spend most of my time 'twixt the two, so I am about an hour from either. If you're in Birmingham, wouldn't it be closer to go to either Bradford or Manchester IMAX instead of London?
You guys have crime over there too!?!?

I doubt that I will bother, though. I have absolutely no interest in the latest Tom Cruise vehicle, and I am nowhere near as excited about TDKR as I was about either of its predecessors.

Nolan is not one to alter his films after the fact, to do director's cuts and whatnot. His theatrical cuts are the definitive versions of the films for him, and though he does make the occasional artistic choice that I don't agree with, I have to have some admiration for that.Honestly, I expected that on The Dark Knight's original DVD/Blu Ray release.
I bet you could imagine my face when I saw the last scene with Batman and an upside down Joker and the filter still being there.
are there any changes to the suit or is it the tdk one

I guess I'll just wait for them to release a list of theaters that will play the prologue and keep my fingers crossed.
That's all I can do at this point.

I just had a thought the other day of something I think would be really cool for the last Bane fight in the movie.
What if Bane grabs Bats by the head and tries to crush it. He comes close to doing so. Batman's mask begins to crack. Another character manages to distract Bane. (Probably Catwoman using one of her whips or something) Bats gets back on his feet, the masks crumbles apart. Batman now fights Bane without his mask on.

That would make Alfred cracking the cowl in Begins seem like huge foreshadowing![]()
"I'll never join you!"seems like you need to make the trek over to pittsburgh and join the dark side.![]()
Can't say for sure, but I suppose at the moment we only have still images to feed our anticipation, and they have left me underwhelmed. Things as superficial as costumes create a subconscious feeling, and I find the Bane, Catwoman and the same old Batman designs to be quite weak. There is also the fact that we have already had two Batfilms from Nolan, so there is less of a sense of feverish expectation.But...why not?
Checked to to see if Ghost Protocol was going to play in my nearest IMAX.... only to find it had just closed down...
bollocks
The one in Birmingham wasn't shut down, it was just changing. It's now an actual independent IMAX cinema, maybe MI4 will be shown.

I am sure I will be as excited as the rest of you a month away from opening.
You know that day when I said everyone would be happy and excited over TDKR?
It's coming...
Dude, I'm already there. I had this same good feeling for TDK way before we ever got the December trailer and prologue. Nolan won't disappoint. It may not end up being quite as good as TDK, but it will still be a great end to the trilogy...and far better than most 'comic book' films made.
Mark my words. It will make TDK look like Iron Man
I don't even know what that's supposed to infer.
I really enjoyed Iron Man 1.
2 not so much.
But the first one was up there in the top tier of comic book movies for me.
My top tier list is
V for Vendetta
Batman Begins
TDK
Iron Man
Spiderman 1
