I was not keen to the idea of Batman being chased by the GCPD. I knew it was going to happen, and it made sense storywise, but for some reason I was just never excited about it. Like when Gil said that stuff about a GCPD viral, I don't know, it just seemed boring. That was before we saw that chase though... now I'm very pumped. I hope the 6 mins is that awesome, awesome, chase scene.

I have to Say the SHH forums have been good at predicting a couple of things.

When the trailer came out people's assumption about a Bane/Batman fight in the sewers were at last partially confirmed.

Then the Goggles as Ears thing turned to be very true

And the Idea that the opening would be Batman chased by cops I remember being speculated here in late spring/Early Summer.

So to the posters and their ideas.

Mainly because we have enough time to discuss something to death by the time we get new info. Most scenarios are thrown out but you never know how Chris will twist it up.

I agree though.

I really liked the idea that someone threw out that Bane's mask is somehow killing him as well. Wouldn't mind that in the film.

Have I seen the Six minutes? No.
But It's not that League of Shadows Prison break everyone's been reporting.
I think it's a big chase between Batman and the cops. Might introduce Levitt, Modine and have Oldman in it.
I also think they're working on some one-sheets that are going to be released with the prologue/trailer in December. I'll have to look into that one a little bit more though.

Batman getting chased by the cops is cool for the opening, but it's certainly not "mind blowing" as Mr. Pfister called it. My guess is that the opening is something we haven't even heard about yet.

I agree. There has to be severe consequences for Batman's difficult decision in TDK.

This news pleases me. TDK is still fresh in everyone's minds. And everyone loved the ending. so I'm sure the Rises prolouge will please people even more.

Me too. Good flow on consistency if they begin where it ended, tonally, even if it's months later.

I'm really looking forward to the prologue then if it's all Bats/Cops action....shame it has to be attached to MI4 though. Man, it doesn't even have Ving Rhames in (he made those films tbh)

The sheer number of police cars chasing Batman was mind blowing.
