Was there an insider who stated the last battle will be effects heavy? It sounds like they have filmed in-studio.
like I said buildings collapsing would support the earthquak machine idea
I just hope they use a mixture of cgi an practical makeup to make bane physically change in some manner when he uses venom
Didn't that person on Twitter actually say that the ending was 100% visual effects? Would that mean no actors? Eh... sounds kind of unappealing to me...

Ah gotcha. That makes more sense. No it means the ending will be filmed entirely in front of a green screen in a closed off sound stage. There will be actors, but they will be in front of a green screen, in a secure room. Only those in the room will know the ending.

It would be more realistic to make it more of a rage sort of thing, making Bane more hostile and dangerous than to change his appearance. If the Venom has some affect on his physicality

Fixed
EDIT: But I think this is the best theory

does anyone still think that this movie will be broken into two parts? if so, the chase scene from pittsburgh could serve as both the end (of part 1) and the middle of the film as a whole. maybe just wishful thinking on my part but it seems like they just have sooo much to fit into 2.5 - 3 hrs.
If the scope is as big as Rag would have us believe I'd say the story would be done more justice being split into two parts, but that's probably just me.
thats what i keep thinking too. most movies that are split, are planned and announced that way from the start (ie harry potter pt 7, the hobbit) but maybe they want to surprise us. What are your thoughts for how they will squeeze all of the character development for the newcomers into one film and not have it feel rushed?
There is no way Nolan would split a story.
