Hardy had the same comic and had signed it before coming out to his trailer, I think they were just passing it around for someone.

I've been thinking. Didn't we see a Blackgate sign that said dedicated to Dent in 2010?
And now we have proof of an exhibition taking place from 2013-2014.

So it seems at least years will pass from TDK ending.

I think Blackgate was dedicated to Dent in 2010 but thats not necessarily the time in which the scene is set. And I think the exhibition is advertising a future event. So I'm GUESSING the movie takes place 2012/2013 but still covering a year or two

Yeah I know it was dedicated in 2010 but that must be after his death so that must mean that from the end of TDK to some time in TDKR years will have passed.

Now if it means we will watch the years pass on the screen or if TDKR is just a few years jump from TDK remains to be seen.

I think he's referring to that prop of the gotham history museum with the civil war that had the date 2013-2014 on it. I doubt it has much to do with the film, though.

Yeah, Joker robbed the bank on July 18th, 2008... according to the Security Camera Photo.

I'm still thinking this movie will take place some years after TDK. At least that's what I'm wishing for.

I think it's reasonably safe to assume Bane is only driving Tumblers around Gotham in a single winter, so the jailbreak would need to be on a 3 year old prison. Dent must still be fresh in people's minds if Bane's bringing it up 5 years(?) later.
