damn i hope there is some bood drawn in fight between Bane and Batman.

Nolan films, super dark, no blood, whats the deal?

The MPAA.

Gotta love that new thread smell.

some mild bleeding would be nice

nothing more than a intense wrestling match

Bleeding and a little bit of playful spanking.

Is it possible that Miranda is a close accomplice of Bane's whom he met and brainwashed at a young age? Hence she'd look up to him as a surrogate father figure with a slightly creepy attraction toward him?

Speaking of creepy father figures, Ra's has spy camera(s) planted in Talia's bedroom in the Batman: Bane of the Demon comics where he watches her. How long that was going on is anyone's guess except for the writer. Ra's watches her tempt Bane.

As for Bane in this movie...where his backstory begins is anyone's guess. I don't think it has to do with the flashbacks set decades in the past though...no corroborating evidence like a casted young actor that looks like Tom Hardy or a side part fitting the description has come to my attention.

Speculation for the order in which act 3 will play out (up until the climax, no idea what the ending will be)

- Cops vs. Mercs.
- Batman vs. Bane on steps then inside City Hall.
- Bane' mask is destroyed and he is defeated.
- Talia reveals herself and wounds Batman.
- Nixon takes a "tumble" (ha!).
- The HEMTT/batpod/tumbler chase begins/Cops take control.
- Batman takes off in the Batwing as GPD Cops cheer.
- The chase continues until the HEMTT truck is forced through the barrier and ends up underground.
- Talia is killed/apprehended.
- Batman hooks the "instrument of liberation" to the Batwing.
- Batman ditches the machine in Gotham river.

Oh god I just realized that Bane's mask looks like goatse if you look at it sideways.

CANNOT. UNSEE.

Very good! I can definately appreciate this. I think your logic makes a lot of sense. Sounds pretty awesome to me. I am sure there will be some catwoman in there as well, but it sounds pretty sound.

i am so happy that TDKR will have a 100% comicbook finale. a classic big fight and lots of explossions. now lets add Zimmer's music to this action and BOOM.

so happy. :csad::awesome::woot:

I need a picture of the "instrument of liberation" device actually inside of the HEMTT. Like, with the doors open and there it is. Anyone can help?

so i never thought about this. but did we talk if the device will create earthquakes durring the chase? wouldnt this be cool? similar to BB and the train?

Okay, so this is going to sound really weird, but is anyone else excited for the trailer because of the warm, holiday feeling it will give you? I know that sounds weird, but when The Dark Knight Full Length Trailer was released in December 2007, it gave me such a warm holiday feeling. I still get goosebumps thinking about it. Something about it being winter(it snows here a lot) and the holidays mixed with the trailer just worked so well.

I'm looking forward to getting that feeling again. I'm looking forward to watching TDKR trailer on a winters day. I know it's going to give me that holiday feeling just like the TDK trailer did.

Does anyone understand what I'm saying? Did anyone else feel like this when they saw TDK trailer? Is anyone else looking forward to getting this feeling again.

I know what you mean Goku, I often link positive memories to time periods in that fashion

LOL, nothing to do with the discussion, but I found this post on Tumblr:

Sign my petition to get Katie Holmes back for Dark Knight Rises!
Katie Holmes sadly left the Batman movies after only the first movie, but since Warner Bros. has made so much money with The Dark Knight I believe they can raise her salary enough to get her back as Rachel for the sequel, The Dark Knight Rises!

Once this hits 30,000 notes I’m going to send it off to Warner Bros/Christopher Nolan. Katie fans unite! We CAN do this!!!

So do I. It's the reason I always preferred when Harry Potter movies came out in November rather than the summer - because the first ones did and they just created those warm fuzzy vibes I always associate with that time of year.

The TDKR trailer should certainly stir up those wintery holiday feelings too, considering it will likely show wintery Gotham scenes this time.

I can't recall where but did I hear correctly that we will see Batman at the begining of the film and then he doesn't appear as Batman again until the last 40 minutes of the film?
