if Bruce goes to this underground prison then i hope he does it for Bane's research. i dont see any other reason for him to go to a prison. he could train outside with more freedom IMO

That has a little throwback to TDK when he was trying to figure out The Joker and Alfred told him that he doesn't understand The Joker. So when he decides to recoup and come back, he goes to prison to research Bane incognito and breaks out...like Bane did.

to understand Bane escaping from prison............i have to become Bane escaping from prison :woot:

I like that MUCH better than Bane breaking Batman then throwing him in some far away jail.

Well that's not a bad idea but it doesn't explain why Bane can be seen in a similar 'cell' seemingly talking to Bruce.

i would like it more if Bane throws him into prison.

there is something great about the idea that Bane doesnt want to kill Bruce but wants to see him suffer in prison.

I'm overly confident about it. I mean, we see Bruce walk out and ask what is being chanted.

Does Bane own a prison? I can see him imprisoning him in a place with his men, but how can he just throw Batman in a prison?

i dont think anyone is owning this prison. i think its an underground temple that was transformed in a prison. the only way in and out is through this well/tunnel.
i think Bane and henchman added some electricity.

It's probably more like an internment camp than a prison. Make shift, made out of the sewers various tunnels and closings.

Yep. The group of men have got to be Bane's crew going down there to get it started (nothing too lengthy, maybe show them hammering in lights) or dumping a batch of prisoners in there. And the shot of that individual climbing is Bruce, literally rising out of there a better man.

I think the prison is for all of gothams elite- sentenced by none other than..... SCARECROW. (for those that don't know- a rumor way back when was that there was a crazy court scene where Scarecrow is sentencing folks to banishment)

I think Bruce hears the chanting from Banes thugs during one of the "union meetings" or something. :hehe:

i think its interesting that it looks like there are 2 different groups when they come down.

So it looks like the four to five lines that we've heard - of Bane - has grown to the WB, in which we as fanboys sound like whiny fanboys.

Here's to all you crybaby's that took something so small and potentially ruined it.

They're gonna alter his voice? Christ, there's nothing wrong with it!

They will not. It won't happen.

Maybe it'll be cleared up but they're not going to destroy Hardy's audio performance over this.

You know what??? I really am starting to think that it IS Bruce climbing out of that prison. I know it appears to be bane- but it would make sense for it to be Bruce escaping. If you look at the picture above- you can see in the top of the frame that there is indeed the bottom of the tunnel from where those guys are repelling down from. I need to rewatch that teaser trailer in 1080p.

It does make sense. Bruce is a captive. Bane is taunting him in there. If there's only one way out, he has no choice but to climb.

There is an article in the News Thread. I don't know how much weight it holds, but it's there.

I loathe any person who will actually rant for hours about the eight to ten minutes of "official" footage - because some are arguing having only seen the teaser, trailer, then prologue booted - and take it as "teh moviez will blow. . . Nolan is ****ing up. . . "

Lord Baby Jesus. . . help us.

Not only has Nolan given us great bat films, he's proved himself in other movies. ****tards and their ability to kill something beautiful.

Leave your mother's basement, go out and find a partner, get drunk and get naked. . . at least once a week. You're not helping the rest of us who actually believe in Nolan's film-chops.

Hopefully not. That's the kind of thing that could make Nolan look for another studio to work with in the future. Granted, maybe WB deserves to have that happen considering some of the foolish decisions they've made over the years.
