The only thing I have been unable to understand was the line, "they expect one of us in the wreckage brother".

WB: We'd like Bane's voice to be easier to understand.

Nolan: I'll take that into consideration, thanks.

End of subject.

:D

That's how Chris responds to WB all the time. He doesn't even listen to their requests.

All they have to do is tone down the background noise on the plane. There were only two lines from Bane that were difficult to understand - and it has nothing to do with the mask.

Seriously. People couldn't understand him in the trailer? Is this a joke?

People couldn't understand Christian Bale and Tom Conti (Or should I say Michael Caine ) in the trailer. People... :whatever:

Nolan nevah backs down from a standoff.

Watching Rocky 3 on TV, clearly this is how TDKR is going to turn out.

The voice will never change, he wont do it and WB wont make him. The sound mixing will change a little and that is all that needs to be done

Funny you should say this... at work today Eye of the Tiger came on and I was like "this song pretty much is what The Dark Knight Rises is going to be about."

Pfft, he's not THAT unreasonable. :funny: He just needs to tweak it a little bit. I think the main thing is that he's muffled and a little distorted. They just need to back off a little on that and then it'll be good.

As I mentioned before, the actual sound mix is a ways off. It's a bit like mentioning how dull a car's finish is before it's actually painted and polished. ;)

OT but your avatar is totally amazing :awesome::awesome:

This is going to become like the Blade Runner voiceover debacle, where a studio ham hands a director into doing something because of a presumed lazy audience...

The overreaction to this is just...abysmal. They were better off not showing any footage at all at this point.

Ha! Like how Mel Brooks was called before the executives for Blazing Saddles, took down notes on everything they wanted to change, and immediately threw them away once he exited the room!

Anybody talked about how the guys rappelling down the hole in the trailer have the same red scarves as Bane's mooks? Are they breaking Bane out pr putting Wayne in?

I like the muffle and distortion. It's the sound mixing that needs to be tweaked.

It'll be insignificant...they're just going to keep going like they are and put out a final mix that will sound just fine as they always intended.

Joker and the bank robbers were 'muffled' under masks in the opening scene of TDK, and you could understand them just fine. It'll all work out.

I really hope not. :woot:

I'm not even joking. Protag gets sloppy and weak thanks to the comforts in his life, gets beaten by stronger, meaner, badder antagonist. Leaves the protag to go soul searching and he then becomes stronger and better and rises to return and beat the antagonist.

Of course this is very very simplified, but it's that kinda relatable story that i've always wanted for batman, the simple comeback story that gets everyone regardless of who or where they are from, on their feet for him to beat the odds. Cliche? Maybe...but like i said very very simplified.
