Yeah I would combine that with Johann Kraus from Hellboy 2, and some breathing issues from vader = win

That's the guy...yeah.

Again, if we could hear those characters fine in their movies, we should be fine in this one.

I realize I may get jumped on here for this, but after watching the 2nd trailer, I was wondering if Bruce uses the cane as a decoy? To throw people off so no one thinks he's Batman? I do think Bane pummels him at one point, but when? Just throwing that out there. Talk amongst yourselves. :)

I think that is a rather clever decoy, I mean he's developed this persona as party-er, plus he wrecks his Lambo in TDK (intentionally but to everyone else he's trying to beat the light)...however there are 2 reasons why I think the cane isn't a decoy, both from the 2nd trailer...

1. In Wayne Manor while Alfred is talking it shows Bruce walking to the silver tray alone...with the cane.

2. At the memorial (presumably) Bruce is on the roof alone out of sight of anyone...and he has the cane.

I'm thinking the cane is either a injury he sustains from fighting petty thugs...like the dog bite in TDK OR it's an injury from Bane.

Possibly that Bane defeats Batman BEFORE he even attempts anything in Gotham...his first actions is to eliminate the Bat, then while Bruce is essentially in hiding (waiting on scars to heal which explains why the valet asks where he's been) Bane attacks Gotham, Gordon is hurt, Bruce (now more healed physically) goes to Gordon in a mask and when Gordon says Batman must come back...Bruce leaps out the window and embarks on retraining. I was looking at the "prison" scene and I notice Bruce doesn't have a cane of any sort, nor does there appear to be the gash on his forehead...I believe he goes to the prison to retrain or as someone eluded to earlier "figure out Bane".

It looks like a BTS pic? Is that a mercenary behind Bats?

Yeah looks like a merc to me.

Probably early when Bats gets his ass handed to him.

So is that the same guy in the teaser trailer?

Good points. Forgot about those parts.

This looks like it's a clearer photo as well.

Can't say for sure. He's elevated up in a similar position. There's bound to be other mercenaries in this scene as well.

Yeah looks like a merc to me.

I always understood Bane to be a tactical mercenary; when he broke Batman's back though, that's when he became FAR more.

And I think that's the Batcave though, to be completely honest. It wouldn't surprise me that Batman and Bane would fight there before after the trailer tibbits where Bane's mercs are tearing up Wayne Manor... again.

In the trailer, all these dudes drop down on ropes in what looks like a circular well. With all these guys at the bottom. I looks like some sort of prison. And it seems Bruce Wayne is in there as well.

Any idea what thats all about anybody?

Not to mention facial hair.

It won't be the batcave IMO. I suspect we'll get the hordes of police chasing Batman sequence, after that the section where Batman discovers bodies lying on the ground (put there as lures by Bane probably), which leads us into the sewers, where Batman and Bane duke it out.

As silly as this may sound...those chains you see hanging are the one thing that makes me not think it's the Batcave...more like the sewers. If you look at the background, it looks more concrete/cement than like a cave.

His hair is graying, so no doubt this takes place AFTER the events of what goes on between Bane and Batman. My guess this place is DEFINITELY the Siberian Prison place where everyone was talking about. It is most likely in Gotham, but it could perhaps be elsewhere across the country.

With this whole being gone and returning standpoint SCREAMS that combination of Knightfall and The Dark Knight Returns, which couldn't be more EPIC. :hrt:

Ok, now we're cooking, this really leads me to believe the "breaking of Batman" is the first thing to happen. Follow me here, when Alfred is talking about failing to protect Bruce, I think that scene is AFTER Bruce has healed and decided to come back...makes more sense for Alfred to be upset because he's continuously watch Bruce endure punishment night after night, and now he appears to be going back to fight the same man that just beat him worse than anyone before.

Why would they fight in a sewer though........ to put up a logical fight? :oldrazz:

Ok...Batman is lured into the sewers by Bane's men, into a trap with Bane. Batman tires himself fighting Bane's goons and then Bane emerges, ready to dismantle the Bat at his weakest. :cwink:

Or this:

1.) After 8 years of fighting against GPD and Gordon, Batman retires.
2.) During the Peace Time, Bane soon arrives and comes to Gotham to confront Batman
3.) Bane breaks Batman physically and mentally and hangs up his cowl and cape. Perhaps after these events, Bruce Wayne's identity is revealed and is thrown into prison.
4.) After escaping this prison after a period of time, Bruce Wayne is the most wanted man in Gotham, and it would explain why Batman comes to an injured/ill Gordon and jumps out of the Hospital Window in a ski mask.

Adds up, yes? :yay:

It's this pic and the last shot of the teaser that seems to give the description of the sewer scene from the other day some credibility. Although, it could be a fiction created with the material we've already been provided. Personally, I'm very excited to see a scene that takes place in the sewers. Having Batman be overcome by the villain in a setting that is literally beneath Gotham is interesting.

I could follow all of that up until there...that is NOT a traditional prison, why would a vigilante be sent to a make shift underground prison...essentially into a pit prison, for his "crimes" Bruce would be sent to a more "modern" prison like Blackgate.

Also, once Bane exposes Harvey Dent/Two-face, Bruce is no longer "wanted", although he does still have the charges Dent referred to in TDK when he says "One day the Batman will pay for his crimes"
