It kills me that we've had two ten-minute video diaries and eleven photos for The Hobbit, but only one photo and a blurry bootleg teaser trailer for TDKR.

:lmao:

That's an... odd sense of humor you got there.

and The Hobbit comes out six months after TDKR, haha.

maybe im wrong here but if nolan is telling batmans "early" career i highly doubt two face or the joker would be killed off soo soon.

But the Joker wasn't killed off! We even got the line "I think we are destined to do this forever". To me that gives the impression of the first of many battles.

sorry then, two face was killed off.

Just because it is new ground doesn't make it better or escalate the conflict. Physical conflict is a letdown when you have plotlines in the past that have dealt with the nature of fear, order vs. chaos, the basic human nature of human beings. Whether we are all savage animals at our core and pushed to our limits? I'm sorry but an unparalleled physical threat is boring unless it is used to explore something deeper, some ideological or thematic conflict.

Btw, NUFFSAID, respect for using the original concept sketch of Bond as your avatar. I love that drawing.

you make it seem like you dont want batman and bane to fight but sit down and have an argument while playing chest.

why not have physical conflict? it can easily fit in with the plotlines and everything els. if you dont want to see a fight or see batman actualy meet his match then i suggest you watch general hospital or some other soap opera kuz you might get disapointed and pissed off once you see any type of violence in the film, you might just faint if thats the case.:whatever:

you sound extremely gullible. so are you expecting toe joker to come back bekuz he seaid that line?. that line was more of a tribute to the batman and joker rivalry through out the years and comics.do you expect there to be 9 more sequels with just batman and joker fighting along with other villains just to add some spice and kick or what?.

im curious, how do you want this batman thing to go?

The guy crawling out of the well in the trailer definitely has a bald head. It's got to be Bane!!

I never said I didn't want physical conflict. I just feel that in order for this film to rival or surpass the previous Nolan films, there has to be more thematic significance to Bane than being just a physical threat to Batman. His character needs to mean something, be symbolic of something. I'm sorry if it's weird that I like my explosions to mean something more than BOOM!! You have Michael Bay and Transformers for that.

And why is gullible to think that Batman's career is supposed to last more than a couple of years, which would be its duration if the Nolan trilogy is meant to be its entire extent. The whole point of the last film was that being Batman is not a finite endeavor for Bruce. It's part of who he is and the world can never go back to the way it was. He changed things... forever. Because he is unwilling to kill, the Joker will always be there. The world just isn't cops and robbers anymore. The Batman is a necessity because he has inspired bad as well as good.

Batman has to be physically scared of Bane. Intimidated by somebody who also uses fear against his opponents.

I don't see why it needs to be more complicated than that?

And TDKR comes out before the Hobbit! We should be getting more, but Nolan is too secretive...

I don't think Batman should be "scared" of anyone, now fully aware that Bane is physically a superior fighter that's a different story.

Batman has yet to meet his match or actually get beat in a fight in this series, so this is the time and place for that.

But I never want to see Batman actually scared, just aware that he's finally met his match.

I've watched the latest bootleg in slow-motion and I have to say he looks pretty scared. As he's backing away from Bane you can see his mouth go wide open, which is crazy. If you can't see it now you definitely will when HD hits on Monday.

I saw the trailer with HP today, and he definitely looked like he was struggling backwards.

In one of the versions o saw it sounded like an audible roar or groan during that last scene that I didn't recognize in the lower quality ones. Just curious if anyone noticed as well

Batman is terrified of Bane. He will run away in fear, hiding in the batcave sucking his thumb.

That picture is one of the greatest things ever published on the internet.

So many useful applications.
