When the HD trailer hits I'm gonna get out Photoshop and do a comparison of that picture and Batman's gasp in the trailer.

When the HD trailer hits, I'm going to go into "nerd analysis mode" and try to calculate Bane's height based on his distance from Batman.

I was actually starting a picture last week of the first pick of Bane we got in May, but once I found out we were going to get a trailer, I found it best to wait. I'm either going to do a piece of up-close Bane or the last shot with Batman.

batman sure has some long wavy hair in those new pics on the photo thread... and hes not as built

Just from the most recent bootleg on the Facebook page(which is incredibly clear) I would say...6 inches taller than Batman.

Give or take an inch or two.

I don't know about that. Bale's chest looks pretty defined in the first picture. I'd say he is for sure bigger, if not slightly, than he was in TDK.

But yes, I agree that the hair is pretty long and wavy.

I don't think you would, I mean it's not a link to the bootleg :yay: and even thought the teaser is being released on Monday does anyone think we might be getting something later in the week?

Catwoman promo if we're REALLY lucky, and if Gill is to be believed(and he is).

Hell, there's not even really a guarantee the teaser will be released on Monday. Could be Friday for all we know.

Which'd suck.

I never said I didn't want physical conflict. I just feel that in order for this film to rival or surpass the previous Nolan films, there has to be more thematic significance to Bane than being just a physical threat to Batman. His character needs to mean something, be symbolic of something. I'm sorry if it's weird that I like my explosions to mean something more than BOOM!! You have Michael Bay and Transformers for that.

And why is gullible to think that Batman's career is supposed to last more than a couple of years, which would be its duration if the Nolan trilogy is meant to be its entire extent. The whole point of the last film was that being Batman is not a finite endeavor for Bruce. It's part of who he is and the world can never go back to the way it was. He changed things... forever. Because he is unwilling to kill, the Joker will always be there. The world just isn't cops and robbers anymore. The Batman is a necessity because he has inspired bad as well as good.

see now that you say it like that then i understand then. and f-ck micheal bay!. but yeah i feel the same way about bane about him being more then just a physical threat. so we on the same page.:woot:

Wait we're getting a Catwoman promo this week?!

you sound extremely gullible. so are you expecting toe joker to come back bekuz he seaid that line?. that line was more of a tribute to the batman and joker rivalry through out the years and comics.do you expect there to be 9 more sequels with just batman and joker fighting along with other villains just to add some spice and kick or what?.

im curious, how do you want this batman thing to go?
"Bekuz" Joker wasn't killed off, it's easier to conceive Nolan's trilogy as the early days of Batman's career.

I believe Bane will be more than just a physical threat. He'll totally break him both with strength and with wits (like the Joker but more focused). But I agree, a mere physical threat would make it a very boring way to end the trilogy. These films were not revolved around arm wrestling.

No? He asked what everybody thinks we might get besides the teaser on Monday.

I hypothesized that, if we get ANYTHING besides the teaser, it'll be the Catwoman promo photo. Since she's next in line to be marketed.

I'm sure WB wants to keep the focus on Harry Potter for now since its smashing all types of records this weekend so I can definitely see why they haven't released the trailer online as of yet.

Even though it would smash just as many records if the teaser WASN'T attached to it.

Believe it or not, batfans don't make or break movies simply because there's a trailer attached to it.

Potter was going to do amazing numbers because it's the last Potter movie.

No kidding and you missed my point.

No I got your point.

you think that by releasing the teaser online that it would somehow take away focus from Potter and that Potter would start somehow losing money.

I thought it was dumb so I didn't bother addressing it.
