Ahh let's all keep calm on the boards. I married with three kids. The bat boards aren't where I go to find tension haha. I don't know about all you, but I would love the movie to open with an action set piece of Batman being chased across the snow covered rooftops of Gotham, breath billowing in the night air, choppers following close behind, only to get cornered in an abandoned building year one style and have to fight his way out. Think that could to the TDK like Wally had mentioned.

You'd think Johns in his position would know what's happening on that film. But maybe given how Green Lantern turned out, I don't blame Nolan for keeping him out of the loop.

So, when TDK was released I thought for a long time about Batman's dilemma. I came to the conclusion that the only way he could get through the scandal was the with the help of the boy scout...Superman. My thinking was along the lines of The Dark Knight Returns kind of thinking. I know, good thing I'm not making this movie right? Did anyone else think of this? It probably would come off as lazy writing anyway.

This brings me to my nerdy life. This summer I started going through the DCAU again, beginning with Batman TAS. I own most of the series from that franchise and I have to say- nothing compares to those first episodes of just Batman and sometimes Robin. The stories were so rich, and deep in character. When Superman and the Justice League came along it was still entertaining, but it wasn't at the same level as BTAS. The depth of that cartoon is what convinced me that Batman is the most interesting comic book character in existence (next to Magneto anyway- according to IGN).

I wonder if Goyer and the Nolans ever read Bane of the Demon? There's a lot in that story that feels like it could fit in this film.

REBOOT!?!?!!? The Queen freaked me out when I was kid. LOL

And indeed; I didn't see that one coming. So far with this game having Joker, Two-Face, Penguin, Riddler, Hugo Strange, and many more to name, this one is already surpassing Asylum; can't wait to buy the $100 edition, and it's also good to know that these baddies look better than the first time. It's one of my favorite games, but I thought some of the bosses were kind of crap....... *coughs and grunts something that sounds like Titan Induced Joker, and then coughs up a storm*
