That was a little arrogant to claim that HE was the buzz. Actually the film is the buzz. he's just lucky to be chosen. The film is standing on the shoulders of what's came before. Nolan has built his own reputation. There's just as much buzz around Hathaway as there is him. It's just that his scenes made it into the teaser. Had we gotten a glimpse of Catwoman or Bale in a new suit or a new vehicle it would be the same for them.

That could be seen as offensive to the rest of the cast or the director.

there's no way for the actors to know what we already know. the best rule is a blanket rule of not talking period.

He didn't at all agree with the comment that he was the buzz.
He's lucky to be choosen for being relatively unknown, yes. But they would have been extremely hard pushed to find a better actor. Especially to play Bane.

It's pretty clear why Hardy was wearing so many layers of clothing in that interview.

It was to hide the bomb infested vest that Nolan put on him before Hardy went out to comic con. Clearly.

You have to admit, it does bring about a decent amount of hype due to sheer curiosity. Not telling anything keeps everyone wondering what the big secret is.

I can't believe the set video of Christian Bale and the unknown actress(Hathaway?/Cotillard) has gotten 500,000 views. You never see SET videos with that type of views. Just shows you how many people are looking forward to this movie.I mean it's a blurry set video for crying out loud. Got to love the hype for this movie.

I think their qualms are with his height relative to Batman: Hardy is 5'10" while Bale is 6'0"

Both will surely be augmented by boots and what-not, though.

Posted at the pics thread. I think this was from the S. John's Street filming back in May.

And it tells us... absolutely nothing.

1. I took this pic at the Farmiloe Building in London, he assisted Wally with the camera work

2. They are moving the equipment from the basement area of the building, where they were filming the Batman/Bane fight previously. I think they were actually shooting the Bane still just to the right of the guy in the picture.

3. Damn poor show of Shock Ya to remove my watermark/credit from the photo.
