This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]385929[/split]
That's why you should do what I'm planning. Go to the marathon and leave as soon as TDK is over, then go to a different showing for TDKR on another day. You can be out of the theater by around 11:30 and get a decent night of sleep for work on Friday. Getting to see BB and TDK on the big screen again is a treat. You rarely get to see old movies at the movie theater anymore.

I do. Before BB, I felt it was the best onscreen representation of Batman, animated or live-action.DKDetective said:You mean the three-part STAS episode?

I would but I can't get out of the office before the marathon starts.
However, I think my plan is a great second place. Go home take a nap, then see TDKR in Imax at midnight with all my friends, third row from the back, dead centre.
I do.
You're crazy!

Also, what is the difference between IMAX and LieMAX, apart from Liemax being digital (I think)?
Resolution and size. Real IMAX footage is jawdropping to see on a giant IMAX screen running through a 15/70 IMAX film projector. You know the experience of watching a DVD on a 20 inch TV and then popping in a Blu-ray and watching it on a 60 inch screen? Same difference between a regular theater (which is pretty much LieMAX) and real IMAX.
I think we might need to distinguish between the LIEMAX, the smaller size Digital IMAX, and the Real IMAX screens.
There really are three different versions of it.
