I'll be seeing this in a regular theater. I like my theater a lot, obviously it's not IMAX good, but I think it's actually better than most regular theaters IMO.

I would find it really odd if a shortened version of the film was made for IMAX. As much as he's touted that format for filming and for experiencing....he had to compromise the final film for it? Ouch.

Again...AVATAR re-release directors cut is 171 minites and played fine in my IMAX..that's over the "IMAX limit" so there won't be two cuts of the film.

181 to 171 is considerably longer than 171 is to 170....if we're going by the 170 max.

Agreed. There is one cut of the film, everyone is getting the same thing regardless of theater.

The WB411 site was the first to detail the MPAA's rating and details about the PG-13 content. I wish someone would check the site. But maybe someone has, and there is nothing to report. It's members only.

Then if that 181m claim is true.....you're looking at a shortened version of the film for IMAX...16min shorter.
