I will drink as many Dews as possible/necessary to win a Tumbler.
Heh, I don't even know what I would do if I won The Tumbler. Part of me would be excited, and the other part would be confused. Living in the city, I would have to sell it.

Biggest spoiler in the marketing was the truck flip. Can't believe they shoved it down our throats like they did considering it's arguably the biggest action setpiece of the film. That moment should have been saved for the moviegoing experience.

Well, it was caught on camera through spy shots. The Chicago ninjas were everywhere.

Yeah, marketing is kind of annoying nowadays. Like the Hulk catch in Avengers or the twist in Prometheus that was revealed in the trailers.

Dammit, it's time for an all-new spot!

I'm fine with not getting too many spots with new footage this time around though. Or if we do, those brief glimpses of new scenes is the best way to do it like in the last UEFA spot IMO.

I want to be able to not know too much...and also be in the spoiler forum. :funny:

I was surprised at how early in the film the truck flip was.

If the next spot is another rehash, I will flip Travesty's tables.

I'm talking about for the general audience though, not nerds who would have seen it through the spy footage. Besides, spy footage is never as good as the movie footage. I remember watching the spy footage and it was cool, but the shot was even better in the movie. I just wish they didn't use it in both trailers and a ton of TV ads.

I bet they won't show the new truck crash.

Well they already showed the HEMMT flip [BLACKOUT]with Tatelia[/BLACKOUT] at the 3rd trailer, right?

That shot of Harvey Dent falling face first into the gas in the final trailer for TDK was pretty spoiler-rific lol

I was honestly more annoyed by them showing us the "Assemble" moment. Should have been saved for the film itself.

Showing the Hulk catch in the trailer ruined the ending in a way..

Funny, film called ''Fast Girls'' comes out in the UK this week and the trailer plays like a recap show..why do they ruin films with spoiler trailers?

Don't forget X-Men: First Class , everything was spoiled in those trailers.

I don't know what I hate more. Trailers that spoil everything (Avengers) or trailers that mislead (Drive being portrayed as a fast paced thriller/Hot Fuzz being portrayed as an action film)

What did it show?

And why don't you have a bigger avi? ;)

Well, those trailers sucked anyway, so I never really watched them more than once. :awesome:

Well, Hot Fuzz kind of is an action movie. More towards the end, but still. Great film by the way.

Yeah, I was expecting different from Drive. I think misleading trailers are probably worse. They mess with expectations.

What twist?

For Prometheus, I saw the teaser trailer after knowing nothing about the movie, and said to myself, "SOLD" - and refused to watch any subsequent trailers or promotions. Went in clean :woot: - so I'd be interested to know which major twists were given away.

With Dark Knight Rises, I think they've shown just enough for me. The trailers are SO exciting/evocative without giving hardly anything away. The kind of scenes we've been shown are largely expositional - particularly the first full trailer. Of the main action set pieces we've seen: football field collapse, the brawl with bane, another fight with bane, and a couple of really out of context shots of the Bat. There's probably at least 2 other large set-piece action sequences we've seen absolutely nothing of at all. If the film is 2 hours and 45 mins runtime (is this confirmed?????????) then it's almost like going in clean. They're forcing us to be blown away!!!! Against our curious inclinations.

They revealed the as much as was for Prometheus, if that tells you anything.

And I don't know why I don't have a 75x75 avvy, guys help me out?

I have only watched one or two TASM clips, won't watch anymore materail from that movie until I actually see it.

Yeah it is but the trailers makes it seem like action beginning to end non stop whereas in reality its literally the last twenty minutes. And yeah its a great film :woot:
