Though, on a bad note, this could be WB's last chance to promote Rock of Ages so they may just air spots for that, though let's hope not.

I'd remove your Nicholson gif man. I got an infraction for posting a non Batman related gif in this thread.

Screw Fandango. "Be the first to know when tickets go on sale." I got my "first to know" email today at 8:03am, nearly a full day after tickets were being sold out. Good thing I knew better or I'd have missed out big time.

Yeah they lost my respect, that doesn't even make sense

That TDKR IMAX marathon is going to be a cluster fudge. How are the people that have solely midnight tickets for TDKR going to fit with the other people who are already inside because of the marathon?

I'm not sure they thought this out thoroughly.

It's gonna be even worse for the guys who have to come in and clean everything. Around 8 hrs of candy, soda and smelly farts. The horror.....

Word to the wise for movie marathons......

....don't order the nachos.

Good thing I'm watching the first Friday morning screening in IMAX. :)

Hopefully the place will be all aired out by then.

I would think that whoever bought those midnight tickets would be the ones that see the imax marathon. Like say the imax midnight sold out, and then they decided to do the marathon in imax, then all those people who bought the ticket for just dark knight rises imax would be seeing 3 movies instead of 1 now.

Oh and I don't think they would clean in between shows for this. When my theater had the avengers marathon we didn't clean in between. It just didn't make sense to clean after the same exact people over and over again, with so little time. Plus most of the people stayed in the theater anyway, and we're not cleaning in between people.

Huh?

If someone bought tickets solely for the midnight screening they'll be expecting to see only that film. I don't get how someone who bought just the midnight ticket would be huddled in with the people that are paying $40 dollars for the IMAX trilogy screening.

The $25 trilogy regular screening guys are ok but it's the IMAX crowd that's going to be a mess. I still have no idea how they're going to make it work.

My IMAX in SF right now is only offering the trilogy screening in their ETX theater. No IMAX trilogy screening.

NBA finals start in about 10 minutes... definitely look for some new stuff there... this is one of the most anticipated NBA finals in a long time, with 6 of the best players in the NBA playing.

I'd look for a spot, or even a montage with NBA clips and TDKR clips.
