Just saying, from initial reaction most of it sounds the same with the exception of certain tracks especially RISE.

But that's not a bad thing. I love the return of tracks from TDK and Begins.

was watching Blu Ray Batman Begins yesterday, and was thinking: what if Bane was injured in the fire started by Bruce?

Why do we fall? and Fear will find you are going to be awesome!

Just a few things. According to the books:

Bane kidnaps Gordon and holds him in his secret lair. When Bane is distracted, Gordon escapes. Gordon races through the tunnels, barely making it to safety. Gordon is found by the police. They take him to the hospital. In the hospital Gordon tells Batman where Bane is hiding, Batman promises to find Bane and stop him.

During the Bane fight the book says they are equally matched. During the fight Bane breaks a pipe and water shoots at Batman. The blast catches him off guard and he doesn’t see what happens next. Bane uses the shadows against batman and knocks him out. After a while, batman wakes up. He’s alone in a strange place. There is no sign of bane or his men.

When Bane storms the stock exchange an officer inside presses a red distress button, which sets off two alarms, one in Gotham Police station and the other in the batcave. Bane downloads bank account numbers, security codes and personal records from the stock exchange computer. Alfred hands Batman the EMP gun before going out. The book has a sequence where Batman chases the motorbike guys on the batpod, as well as Bane. One book has Bane getting away, and the other has Bane getting caught (which obviously won't happen)

The Bat has an EMP guidance mount on it.

In 'The Secret Files' there is a nice shot of the new Wayne Manor with Bruce driving the Lambo. I'll go and scan it for you guys.

Interesting so I assume these books don't go through the entire movie, just this sequence?

Thanks!

It will be interesting if they will stick to that in the Bane/Batman fight.

Indeed.

A bit from the 'Rise' track is the same bit from the scene when the Wayne's were murder.

Thanks for the bit of info and scan AnneFan, Is there any other new images in the books?

In terms of shots from the film, no.

The Dark Knight Legend junior novel only recounts BB and TDK, leading up to TDKR. We'll have the official novelisation to go over when the movie comes out.

Indeed.

Very :007

I even remember the day they shot this. Wow. This has been a journey, much like days with TDK in Chicago. This time, we went a bit more around the world!

Despair will play in the first time Bruce climbs and fails. Why Do We Fall? will play when he finally climbs the pit and succeeds. That's gonna be awesome.

Epic score. And I'm really, REALLY excited for Rise. Hearing that while watching Batman eventually sacrificing himself is gonna be cruel, man.

I said this at the Score thread but I can totally imagine "Why Do We Fall" while they show Bruce training in prison and looking all pissed, badass, and ready to climb out of the cave/well.

Definitely. The pacing and tone to this track sounds something like Bruce getting back into shape and climbing out The Pit with intense determination.

In comparison to Bane's tracks though... wow, they sound horror-esque.

Agreed. Those damned downward spiraling strings that start up around the 18-second mark of "The Fire Rises" are chilling as all hell.

That too. If the music is resembling the performance itself, then we're in for something confronting.

'Gotham's Reckoning' has a dark dirge about it. Like this scary force that covers everything in a blanket of evil.

I think Why do We Fall? is the music used in trailer 3. If that's the case, it's gonna be an epic track :)

Indeed.

When Nolan said "Horror Monster" he meant it :woot:

Looks like they're really keeping the sewer fight footage under tight wraps. Could be done on purpose, to heighten the sense of unpredictability and dread regarding what is about to befall Batman.
