Why is this good? It's not that great. His Superman has a big fat head with a few dots and a line for the face, he looks like he's ******ed, and Batman has a triangle for a nose. I'm so tired of people saying how good he is and he sucks he's over rated, I like some of it but, he is no where near a great artist.

I know this is an appreciation thread, but still... Maybe I'm just dumb, but I really can't understand what all the fuss is about with Tim Sale. And that'd probably make everyone I know IRL dumb too, because none of them seem to like his art either. My one brother compared his rendition of Selina Kyle to Michael Jackson. I feel like he's kind of overrated.

^ All art is subjective, even comics art. The people who post in this thread like Sale's art. There are probably people who don't like it... probably there are people who don't like Jim Lee's stuff... or Neal Adams... take your pick of artists.
