I repeat again this is why Superman fans don't have nice things.

Batman fans had a Batman movie where there was about two or three scenes in the Batman costume before the finale.

I'm so sick of hyperbolic whinging from Superman fans.

You mean Superman just stops an exploding rocket, saves a stranded ship, saves Lois from African terrorists, saves people from a natural disaster, does some act of heroism at the Day of the Dead thing and saves the world from Doomsday?! URGH, SNYDER!

As opposed to Batman who...beats up some thugs...beats up some thugs again...chases a truck...steals from Lex Luthor...beats up some thugs again...beats up Superman...and distracts Doomsday.

Batman gets to do everything!

I'm not seeing the movie!

Superman fans think of Batman fans as obnoxious bullies or something but they don't realize that they ome off just as obnoxious but instead of ******* bulies, they'really more like whining *****es for the most part.

I never found any obnoxious Superman fans until I came here. Guess there's a first time for everything.

So true. Great job putting it in perspective.

I honestly believe that Superman has the worst fanbase out of every superhero.

Some would threaten to boycott the movie over lack of a spitcurl I am sure.

I'll never forget the mountains of threads on the SR board discussing various hues of red and threats to boycott the movie over "teh burgundy".

They shoulda boycotted it over literally everything else

Can someone please change the name of this thread to "The clueless Superman fans venting" thread.

More spoilers should be coming very soon, some people are leaving theaters right now from special screenings

But eh, for me it's like I'very said before...So glad I love BOTH!

I don't think of Batman fans as bullies, there's just a alot of superman fans who are tired of Superman being portrayed as an unintelligent and unlikable so that in return, Batman will look good in comparison. And because of that, there's alot of fanboys, not fans, who love to rub Batman's superiority in our faces. The GA already thinks Batman is an awesome character, while Sups is lame or in other words, is under bats in terms of greatness and sadly this film will just be furthering that conclusion.

I think people missing the point that I'm making, I just do not like it when other characters are downplayed so that another character will look good. Batman is batman is this film, yeah he kills which is kinda troublesome for me, but his comic-book characteristics is what makes up for it. From what I'm hearing is that all sups does is just a few heroic things, yet I'm not feeling any correlation between his personality/characteristics and his actions like I did in MOS. There is no clear motivation. I was still happy with MOS and other superman media, it's just when he's with Batman then that's when Superman is just suddenly dumbed down for no other reason.

First thought, the trailers gave away way way way way to much of the movie. There were so many potential jaw dropping moments that could've been experienced in the theater, that were already in the trailers.

2nd thought, when we first see WW and she defends Batman from the blast, and that music plays. Pure ****ing genius.

8/10

i still will never want to see a movie where batman kills, so this DCEU is ****ed up for me.

You must have never watched a Batman movie since before 1989. In every movie since the 1989 Batman film, Batman has killed, IIRC.

Edit: I see you've all already addressed him. LOL

I'm sorry but you're not even making sense.

I was going to say that you shouldn't post criticisms like this before you watch the movie but I think you haven't even watched the trailers.

In what world is Superman being portrayed as unintelligent and unlikable in this film? Anyone can see from the trailers that he's being portrayed as having dignity and not getting into this "BS". He's showing restraint and substance against Batman's blind rage, questionable motives and bullying demeanour.

You're just seeing what you want to see, which is ironically what you claim not to want to see. It's nonsensical and its not fair for you to come and dampen the spirit this close to the movie with imaginary slights.

My only real gripe with what I've heard of the movie so far is that people are saying Clark doesn't have enough dialogue. I'm pumped to see his sacrifice and all of his heroic feats.

The only thing about him fighting Batman that I'm not thrilled for is that I'm just burnt out on heroes fighting eachother in comics over the last ten years.

I want to know about Future Flash and his costume damn it, details!

My first thought was how brilliant the marketing misdirection was. Doomsday and the Trinity stance notwithstanding, there were PLENTY of surprises. Not in the least when it comes to the plot. Halfway through I just remember thinking how densely layered it was and certain paths were not how I had predicted.

You sir are the man. Heck, look at my sig. I'm one of you! LOL

Superman fans are coming away from BvS with him being beaten by Batman and dead at the end.

This movie catered towards Batman the moment they decided to bring him in.

Looking at the reports of the first reactions they enjoyed Batman and Wonder Woman, but not Superman.

Regardless Batman defeated Superman, whether Superman tried to reason with him or not.

Really hard to make out, personally. He had the traditional outfit as far as I can see. I distinctly remember shoulder pads resembling the ones from games. But he had armor layered over it (I'm assuming to withstand the time travel). Right before he exits a helmet encloses him. If you play Halo he didn't look too dissimilar from it.

Beaten by Batman because he's above the fray and refused to fight him seriously.

Dead because he sacrificed himself for the good mankind.

Batman looks like a jerk and is alive because he's useless in the end fight and has to get saved by Wonder Woman.

Again...it's like selective hearing.

And I've not seen one reaction saying Superman gets shafted. It's only people who haven't seen the movie rampaging about this and not being sensible.
