Because he should stay dead for a bit.

I agree. I think just a lingering shot of the dirt on his coffin would've been enough without the rumbling/levitating dirt bit.

but then we'd have endless discussions if he is dead or not for real. and mostly the GA would think he is dead for sure.

The plot point by which Bruce and Clark become friends is really bad.

It's that they both have a mother named Martha.

How did you imagine them becoming friends? I thought having both their moms called Martha was a good point.

I think it was a bit more to it than that, but to each their own.

in the movie, innocents fear of batman.
if he didn't tell him he is a friend of his son, she will be freaked out.

man, i just don't understand the hate of this movie???

I thought the scene worked because Batman was mentally damaged during majority of the movie, he was literally going insane with his rage.

PS. Be sure to post your review soon please!

I thought the Martha bit was good. It was like a slap in the face for Bruce to snap him out of his blind rage. It humanized Superman for him. I didn't think they were immediately bros.

I've posted my review, link is in my signature. It's not my best review ever since I'm tired, and I think I'm making standard points.

***********

Batman wasn't just going crazy, he wanted to kill Superman. He built a Kryptonite spear, and he has kryptonite bullets, he's in a murderous rage and then all of a sudden he isn't and he refers to Clark as his friend a few minutes later.

It would have worked better if Clark had *done* something to earn that friendship, as in save somebody in front of Bruce so that Bruce sees him in a better light, or stop Bruce from doing something bad.

The fact that Clark came to talk to him and didn't just spear tackle his ass from orbit would be reason enough for Bruce to go "hey, I was totally wrong about this guy".

^ Batman was completely unreasonable and out of control at that point.

Yes, because Batman is mentally damaged and emotionally unstable.

Hey, I just remembered something. Wasn't there a rumor that we we're suppose to have a handshake scene between Batman and Superman? Never happened. :(

The only moment like that that I can remember is when Batman promises Superman, Martha will not die. The only handshake scene was at the party I believe.

That's what camrips tend to do.

Pretty easy to understand, isn't it?
yet, people don't understand.

bruce, saw the letter stating he didn't do enough to save his parents / martha, that + what happened in the hall give him the determination to kill superman.

and in the end, "martha" waked him up.

i can't believe you didn't get it, DA_Champion.

The fight is my favourite scene from the movie. It was glorious in IMAX. I suggest seeing it in theaters and not from someone's cell phone.

Good, the highlights from the movie for me were the more quiet moments, the ones that flesh out the characters.

I actually didn't notice the levitating dirt at the end, maybe I turned my head a bit too early and so I thought the ending was perfect. So I was disappointed when my gf told me about it.

When Bruce woke up from that nightmare at his parents tomb was there a woman in bed with him? It kinda looked like there was but I'm not sure. Just wondering if anyone else caught that.
