Hearing which is so convenient that he's able to find Lois in the middle of a desert across the world, falling from a building in a huge Metropolis, and even when she's drowning underwater in the middle of a fight for his life against Doomsday.

Yet he remarkably can't find his own mother when she's in the same city.

Not only that but he was willing to die/kill Batman to save her, but when the fight was over he didn't just go save her himself? Doomsday wasn't around yet. Or just ignore Luthor and go save her himself? He has super speed, no? Why did Batman say "I'll save her" when he had NO idea where she was either? I mean. C'mon.

He's in sync with her heartbeat in the pre- new 52 comics. Just with her.
I don't remember how he did it but it has been shown in many stories and even in the tv show smallville if I remember correctly. I only watched a few seasons. That's how he is able to find her everywhere.

That's cool. If they would have shown, told, or even hinted at it then I'd believe it applies to the movie. Wish they had. Would have at least made sense.

Good to know.

But I didn't know that, and no one who isn't a huge fan of Superman will know that, so it's the responsibility is on them to let us know, which they didn't.

Geoff Johns? OH NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Have these guys learned nothing? Geoff is just like Zack,he hates Batman and wants to make him right and realistic, Jesus Christ.

This meme with Geoff Johns' Batman needs to die.

But they even added the sound of her heartbeat before he runs for her. Wasn't that enough? That's how I remembered it was straight from the comics.

In the middle of the loud doomsday fight the score suddenly stops and you could hear the sound of her distressed heartbeat. Wasn't this their way of letting us know?

Dude I've seen it twice and I can't remember that happening. Nor did I notice it. Know why? Never saw it in the comics before. If you don't know that from the comics there's no way in hell anyone will make that association.

It also made the reason for the Batman vs Superman fight pretty weak. Superman went there and tried to ask Batman for help. Batman interrupts him and attacks and Superman throws him away like a mitten. But he doesn't try to reason with him while he's down, and suddenly he's so into it that he's driving Batman straight through a building. I don't understand why it takes until Batman is about to kill him until he tries to reason with him again (other than that the movie needs them to fight, because that's the name of the movie).

Or just, ya know, grab Batman by the ankle and fly him 1000 feet up then explain it to him. Instead we got Rock em Sock em Superheros.

But it did happen.

I'm gonna put it this way. If you never knew who Cyborg was. Never seen anything Cyborg related in your life. Then saw this movie and someone asked "what did you think of Cyborg" and you said "Which ones was he?" would you be wrong? Hell no. Because they never specify who Cyborg is. Comic books are not Cliff's Notes for movies. You shouldn't have to read one to understand the other.

Johns has the EXACT SAME problems with Batman that Snyder had with Supes in MOS,the exact same and I'll say it again exact same.

I'm not gonna try to change your mind. But now you know this is the reason he is able to find her everywhere. The way he stopped in the middle of the fight was enough explanation in my honest opinion. But if it isn't for you well, fair enough.

My review for BvS:

It's one of the most entertaining films in a long time. The new Batman is spectacular and every scene with him gave me chills. The movie feels so majestic and massive too

But out of 10, this movie was like 6 or 7. I still don't like Cavills Superman that much, plot was messy, Lex Luthor was a miss for me, I despised that Batman kills, and that was possibly the worst imaginable use of the "Death of Superman" arc ever

I thought it was her banging on the concrete he was hearing.

Same. I'm pretty sure it was thinking back.

Geoff Johns likes BatMAN, not BatGOD. Batman Earth one volume 1 and 2 have less problems than Man of Steel does.

But like Man of Steel, Batman Earth One is an origin story where the hero isn't an expert at what he does instantly after one outing.

It really felt like Supes was hearing her heartbeat.

Well I think they indicated pretty well that no matter the rationale Superman is keyed into Lois in a strong way. Does it matter what techno-babble explanation they come up with? And... Isn't this the place where people wave the "show don't tell" flag all the time? They showed us.

After watching the first 4 episodes of Daredevil's 2nd season and seeing how well they did the whole Castle vs. Daredevil aspect, I'm severely disappointed in this.

Yeah there's definitely this link between them.

Well has a huge advantage because that was 4 hours of buildup whereas BvS ony has 2.5 hours to tell its story.

Gotham and Metropolis are now across the street.

WHO KNEW?!

Some observations:

- The acting ranges from good to amazing, everyone is just on point.
- The action and visual language is incredibly good.
- Loved the soundtrack.
- The rest? Eh. Not good. It's like someone ripped a few pages off a comic and made it into a movie, but forgot other very important pages and went like "eh, screw it".
- Batman surely killed a lot of goons!
- Lex was... so weird. Eisenberg definitely made it his own, but I'm not sure I dug it all that much. Entertaining, though.

Missed opportunities:

- The Senate hearing: have Superman give a speech, behind closed doors. Everyone sees the compassion and kindness in him. They have hope. And then, boom. They blow up.

WTF moments:
- The Jonathan ghost scene. I mean, seriously. What. The. ****.

That's all for now.

I thought the scene between Clark and his dad was beautiful, one of those poetic moments.

The senate hearing, I wonder if there's more to the scene in the extended cut.

God,. i dont get this movie. DC is trying to get SUperman popular again,. yet they let him get his ass straight WHIPPED by bats? lol yea ok.
