He doesn't look "bad". Just not as great as he could look, IMO anyways.

^ fair enough and I get what some people say they wish maybe his spikes were larger and maybe he had the hair etc. For me it still works, I still look at him and immediately think "oh it's doomsday!"

I just spoke with my friend who was lucky enough to see an early screening due to her connections in film world. She only allowed me to ask her one question and as everyone would probably imagined, I asked her if Superman stays dead post credits of this film.

She said superman is, without a shadow of doubt, DEAD, by the end of this film.
