You know Bizarro Ultraman already has an origin... you can play him, but read up on him...

Seriously? Where can I find the info?

And here I was thinking I had a fresh new idea.

Hmm, has anyone thought up a Man-Owl yet?

Man-Owl is a good guy, remember...

and as for info, look at the wikipedia link...

A giant owl with a heart of gold.

...

That's wrong on so many levels. :o

And he'd be intelligent. Like those storybook wise Owls.

Could be interesting. At least until Owlman swoops in and cuts his head off, or something equally gruesome.

Uh byrd man, the intro post is supposed to be something like a story, like what he does normally in his home universe...

:csad: kay, I'll have him save so me folks at the end.

Like that? Should I edit some more to include him getting beamed up?

Don't get him getting beamed up yet... it leaves room open for you to do a second post if you wanna...

Application for The Chosen/Mission Related Characters
(* means questions only applicable to the Chosen)

Codename: Kid Ultra

Real name: None

Human name (if applicable): Lionel II/ Nicknames include "Bastard Klone"

Age: 19

Height:5'11"

Weight: 190 lbs.

Eyes: Red

Hair: Black

Occupation: Tyrant Leader of the Young Offenders

Marital Status: Self described "owner" of Supergirl

Known Relatives: Lt. Clark Kent "Ultraman" (half-father), Alexander Luthor (other half)

Group Affiliation (history of group needed): Young Offenders

Universe/Timeline history*: CSA Earth-2

History: In order to make a perfect hero, Alexander Luthor put his time and his money and his effort into making another son after his loss of Alexander Luthor Jr., but this time, a half-clone with the powers of Ultraman. With a little genetic engineering, he managed to make a half-clone of himself and Ultraman, without the dependency on Anti-Kryptonite.

On a routine massacre of the Justice Underground, the Crime Syndicate stumbled across a cloning tube with the "bastard clone", according to Owlman. Attempting to kill it, Ultraman stopped Owlman, and once bringing the boy to life, carved a letter "U" in his chest, a sign of branding. This means Kid Ultra is forever indebted to Ultraman ala the "favor bank".

The CSA's post-Crisis world is primarily governed by the "favor bank"; unofficial but ironically the only rule that is not consistently broken. If any person should grant a favor for someone else, that person is entitled to compensation whenever they see fit, no matter what the cost or hardship to the latter. Failure to pay back a favor results in inordinately harsh consequences.

Lumped with a "useless" team of young delinquents (including Owlboy, Supergirl, WMD, Slipstream, Solarflare, Predator, and Dark Raven), Kid Ultra has a deep hatred for Owlboy, and often forces Owlboys girlfriend Supergirl into having sex with him, as she is afraid of his untamed power.

But there's a catch: when Alexander Luthor says "Pro Bono" (similar in opposition to the Crime Syndicate's motto "Cui Bono" meaning "who profits?"), Kid Ultra loses his ultrapowers and gains super-intelligence and tactile telekinesis. He then takes on the good persona of Lionel Luthor II.

Whenever he goes heroic, the Young Offenders are forced to take him down, and Supergirl tries her best to kill him.

Owlboy doesn't know about the raping of Supergirl via Kid Ultra.

Whenever Ultraman asks of a favor to Kid Ultra, he must obey, whether he is Kid Ultra or Lionel state of mind, as it is the "right thing to do".

Skills: As Lionel II: Super-smart

Powers (comparative to main DC Universe characters): as Kid Ultra: Super-strength, superspeed, icevision, firebreath/ as Lionel II: tactile telekinesis

Hero, anti-hero, villain?: Anti-hero

I still say the names should be Ultraboy, Supergirl, Raptor, Speed Head, and Techman.

Your justification for the names would be:

"It's Superboy, not Kid Super"

"It's Robin, not Batboy"

etc. right? I mean, fair enough...

but I don't think it has to be exact, I mean, it's Flash, not Wally Quick, ya know?

I like the Raptor name, but I think it could work for Nightwings analogue... and for Slipstream, that was Johnny Quick's name when he was a sidekick, so it might work for Bart's analogue...

and yeah, Tech Machine's cool... I was trying to think of a name for Cyborg's character...

Owlboy just sounds kind of silly. Raptor sounds better, and a much more violent analogue for Robin. The Nightwing analogue can just be something else. How about Deathwing? Also, Bart's analogue should be Speed Head because he's going to be a drug addicted spaz who sits around all day listening to Pink Floyd.

Bart COULD want to grow up a drug addict... most things are opposite...

Owlboy does sound silly... like Robin... but Owlboy will be a badass mofo who take snot **** from anyone... killin left and right...

Deathwing sounds cool... Raptor's awrite... the thing about Raptor is that when you say it, you think of the dinosaur, not the bird of prey...

But Question, what are your ideas for the heroes of Earth2?

I was thinking of applying for Joker as an MRC. Although I'm not sure if I want to yet.

Well, I think if anyone should play The Jester, it should be the Question, as a nod for the brilliant playing he's done before. Out of respect. If not, I wouldn't mind the Jester not being in this arc, as he was already an ally...

Raptor is a term used to describe any Birds of Prey, who generally are genetic descendants of the prehistoric Raptors. Owlboy just seems unnecessairy. Raptor works for Tim, and Deathwing works for Dick.

Quizmaster: A super genius IT nerd who built a small electronics empire, buisnessman Edward Nashton wished to help the people of Gotham City. Donning a green suit, a bowler hat, and a pair of sun glasses, he became Quizmaster, Gotham's resident vigilante detective. Starting out as a mere joke, going around beating up drug dealers and vandals, he slowly gained more skills and is now an unparalleled crime noir badass and tactical genius.

Mongul the Wise: An intergalactic philosopher and holy man with imense psionic power who wishes to spread his ministry to Earth. He's not much use in a fight, being that he's a pacifist, but he's still perfectly willing to sacrifice his life for the sake of others.

Slade: A psychotic, wise cracking mercenary and Deathstroke analogue who enjoys tormenting The Olympians (what I want to call them). Obviously based on Deadpool.

Sinestro: One of the few honest cops in a horribly corrupt intergalactic police force.

I thought of signing up as him, too. I would've called him Deadstroke, but I like the simplicity of "Slade" better.

So are The Olympians what they call capes, heroes in general?

Oh, you mean the Young Offenders? Yeah, I had the Olympians idea, but i read on wiki that they were called Young Offenders...

but I'll tell you what... names like that can be changed, ya know?

Olympians it is...

btw, Question, more villain- err, hero- ideas... i remember all your past ones, like Commander Frost and such...

Haha, Slade was also a Deadpool analogue in the DC Universe, according to Mxy... it was pretty cool...

Besides, Wade usually goes by, well Wade in Marvel, so having the anti matter Deathstroke based on him should reflect that.

Well, since Ambush Bug is often written as DC's Deadpool, we could have the anti-matter Ambush Bug be a badass mercenary/assassin who follows his own honor code while laying waste to whoever stands in his way.

I think Ambush Bug is a poor man's Deadpool, if you ask me... i REALLY poor man's Deapool...

why would we need Ambush Bug?

1) Ambush Bug rocks your cock.

2) It would be cool to have him be a cold, claclulating badass in the CSA universe ala Deathstroke.

1) Ambush Bug does rock my cock... cuz he BLOWS... his appearance in 52 was annoying... and he didn't do ****...

What would Ambush Bug's name be? Hmm... I sense something spider like... Spider Slayer?

Ambush Bug was thought of quite a bit before Deadpool. Deadpool's a poor man's Deathstroke/Ambush Bug. Still cool, yes, but Ambush Bug did it first.
