I don't have much of a problem with Twitter because the real sports also use Twitter and Social Media (hell, Major League Baseball has a show dedicated to Social Media in their sport). The problem is that they go overboard with it. I've seen a twitter tracker used for College Football on Fox, UFC on FOX, MLB on Fox Pregame and NFL Network. However it's not to the extent of WWE. Twitter was also prominent during the Olympics.

None of the real sports however use Tout. You don't hear the announcers of the Super Bowl say "Tout your thoughts on who's going to win the Super Bowl."

Your never going to shut up about WWE&social media are you?,I'm not trying to start **** But it's just I feel it gets equally annoying when you keep posting about it,I learned to get over it and accept WWE is obsessed with it and *****ing about it all the time on the net still ain't doing anything to solve it,I like social media to an extent But when WWE plugs it I just tune it put,I change the channel or focus on something else while it passes.

WWE and idiots can Tout/upload videos on YouTube/share links on Facebook or Tweet all they want,It's affecting me in any real way beyond annoyance..Which it's not so bad when you learn to ignore it!

It's still Vince's fault, he should have cut his knees off like he did any other wrestler who fancied himself as Steph's suitor.

You really think so? It seemed like this year WWE either picked the right people or let the inductees choose the person who inducted them. The only one who seemed REALLY off the wall was Stephanie...and maybe Arnold. I figure if Bruno had his way he would have been inducted by someone else. Arnold was clearly a celeb/media grabbing choice.

Most of the other inductors fit but Stephanie just felt way off. There was some tension between the two in storylines but nothing majorly memorable or classic as far as feuds go. I think Trish said it was something about strong women being a thing in common but it should have been Lita. Hell maybe even Finlay. Any number of people on call would have been better. Beth or Nattie would have been better too.

I could be wrong and Funk getting to induct Foley does fly in the face of my theory, I just can't imagine Trish not picking Lita if given a free choice, unless Lita had told her she was uncomfortable with having to stand and do an induction so Trish chose Steph instead, I mean Lita was never that comfortable on the mic.

I agree. Bischoff is the guy that really pushed us where we are now with major matches being given away for free. I think the first match between Sting and Hardy was given away for free on TNA tv. That was a huge match at the time. WTF? And TNA wonders why their buyrates aren't bigger. Wrestling has become a tv driven product instead of a live gate/ppv revenue driven product. Thats not a good or bad thing just the way it is. But tv should be used better to SELL the PPV's Otherwise whats the point? The big companies would be getting far more out of PPV's if they didn't give so much away.

The fact that WWE still want to run so many PPV's just adds to how stupid their choice to go this route is, at least TNA seem to have realized that the change in the business means TV focus doesn't require so many PPV's that are most likely not that cost effective.

With Triple H I don't think he believed in Cena as much as Vince at the time and thats where his ego took over. I also think we were on our way to H getting his win back at WM23. One time I'm glad the match changed. There was no point in that rematch other than to soothe HHH's ego. Cena was The GUY. Triple H should have just accepted that and moved on.

Oh yeah I think HHH has admitted he didn't see much in Cena, but there had been two years between the Mania 22 match and the NOC match in which Cena had proven him wrong, yet he still went over him, the dude is worse than Hogan in truth as he doesn't even have the excuse of being the biggest draw ever to justify his self aggrandizing actions.

LOL! Considering how Triple H never seems to go to bat for Foley I don't think he appreciates what he did for him nearly as much as he should.

During that period of the AE they were on the same level when Foley retired yet HHH seems to still think Foley was beneath him back then. Mick NEVER should have been off the HOF tv brooadcast. If it was USA's choice I hope Vince and HHH fought hard for him when they first heard the plan. Somehow I doubt it all went down like that though.

Triple H has this weird hang up on Foley not "looking" tough, yet he knows full well just how tough Foley is and what Foley has sacrificed physically for the business, he's such a ****ing tool at times.

Man I'd forgotten about that as well, he didn't even bother to show up until the PPV to build the angle either, he just arrived, beat Booker and left.

Its really cool to me how whenever Foley gets really disrespected or doesn't get his due from a big promotion fans let their feelings be known loud and clear.

For Mick this was almost a modern day equivilant of "Hmmp! That'll put a lot of butts in seats" in the sense that fans knew the call was complete bulls*** and made sure the PTB knew it. Foley's earned more respect than that and the fans love him. Times like this are when a guy knows he's really made a mark. The people let him know by helping change things.

To me the fans support of Foley this week showed the impact he's made on this business far more than a HOF ring.

Foley connected on a human level most can never achieve, it amazes me WWE doesn't recognize that after Austin and Rock he was the most over star of the Attitude era and he made both Rock and Triple H credible and then later came back and did it for Orton and Edge as well.

Punk was really working at the HOF.
