The Wrestling Thread has much larger nipples

If Cody, Jey and Dom walk out as Champions I honestly will probably stop watching for awhile…

Get ready for Jey man.

He’s not the strongest wrestler but the guy is SUPER over. There’s no way he’s not leaving Mania as champ.

I feel you about Cody. The world loves him but I don’t get it.

I've been enjoying Dom as a heel, as it's the best thing to happen for his career as he was nothing as a face.

WWE should fire Omos. There's no point in paying a guy you haven't booked on TV in a year, a guy you have no plans on booking on TV. A guy who was working in Japan and relinquished the NOAH tag team titles for no reason, and they pulled him saying he was returning to WWE. He never did.

Time to cut him loose.

I think he might be coming back at WrestleMania or post-WrestleMania. Likely to join someone's heel faction as a heavy.

I know the build this year has been all over the place, but do you think the show itself will deliver? I do.

And, what is your most looked forward to match this coming weekend?

I think it'll be a good show overall with some good matches, not sure there's any classics in there.

The two triple threat matches for me!

I don't think Cody is leaving as champ. We haven't seen faces chase that title for a year now. Time for a change. Jey is most certainly winning. I can make a strong case for Dom, Bron, or Penta winning.

As per Omos mentioned before, he could be the new member of Judgement Day that's been teased, as Dom's bodyguard. He'd be perfect for a chicken**** heel's bodyguard. He could show up at Wrestlemania or the Raw after. If not, I'd still rather someone have a job and not be on tv then just be fired and have no job. Maybe that's just me.

Makes no sense. Everyone believed he was coming back to return at the Rumble, and he didn't. What heel faction? Why not book him for a year when he was healthy and ready to go? He could've stayed in NOAH where he was flourishing and they had use for him, where he's appreciated as a special attraction.

Fun match between Rey and Julius Creed, he's got some freakish athletic ability, it'll be interesting to see how he progresses.

Looked like Bron might have hurt his knee from that Penta dive.

AJ got the best match I've seen out of Karrion Kross, it felt like everything has clicked for him with how he worked the crowd and was actually getting heat off the crowd.

Strong finishing segment, interesting that Punk and Heyman didn't actually get to speak, Seth is on a roll right now with his promos, and the way he ended Raw was perfect, him becoming a self chosen martyr to save professional wrestling is a great idea, they just need to follow through.

Julius is a future world champion imo.

I definitely think he'll get a singles push after the Creeds win the tag titles, he's got lots of potential.

This certainly wasn’t a WrestleMania X7 go home edition of Raw tonight.

Sheesh.

Honestly... what was wrong with the show? Gunther had massive heel heat with a great promo, Liv and Bayley had a great TV match, heels got some heat, that final segment was good... what exactly was wrong with the show?

Yeah, I thought it was a solid show, they promoted 8 of the matches, Liv vs Bayley was excellent and the other 3 matches were all decent, and it was bookended by 2 strong promo segments for two of the biggest matches.

I thought it was a solid show. Especially liked Liv vs Bayley. I get them not wanting to go all out and risk potential injuries right before Wrestlemania.

I’m sorry, but for it to be the last Raw before Mania of all PPVs, you gotta give me more than just a Bayley match and a Finn Balor match.

Granted, you don’t want your stars injured before the big show, but last night was literally recap after recap, so much talking and talking and mind you this is an action driven show.

Gunther’s opening promo was cool, but Jey’s was just his entrance and he said a bunch of nothing. All of those packages for the triple threat women’s title match but none of them present, the last segment with Paul E and the men’s triple threat was alright but lacking, and then you have Cole and Pat constantly pushing Mania and the card on commentary and telling you how great it’s gonna be. If you have to tell me how great it’s going to be, are you convincing the audience or yourselves?

It was just very lackluster IMO. But this is Trips’ style. :o
