No interest in The Pope! Man when is that guy going to catch a break? He should be main eventing right now in either company. He has some awesome promos, and in the ring he's pretty good as well. You can put him in any feud with anyone and he'd make it entertaining. Stupid wrestling companies. :csad:
I was really annoyed when WWE let him go in 08, I loved Burke and thought he had a lot of potential that they hadn't even touched on yet.

Burke is a talented guy. I'd rather watch him than Miz, Del Rio, and Barrett.

I really just want Cena to go nuts and beat the living hell out of someone. This angle is not satisfying at all unless Cena goes off on The Rock and his haters.

Same here. My theory is that will raise Cena will raise Rock's hand after the match and then , he'll either get rock bottomed or deliver Rock an AA.
Setting up a rematch for Summerslam.

Thinking back now, I'm actually quite sad we never got to see Ken Shamrock and/or Owen Hart as the WWF Champion(s) (top champions). :csad:

Speaking of Summerslam they had a decent feud. I remember being excited about Dan Severn coming in the WWF but that was over shortly.
I don't think Severn would of got the title but Owen might of if he was dedicated enough.

They might as well let Rock win if Cena doesn't change his character, because people will hate your top babyface even more

Exactly. If Cena is not going to change, he doesn't deserve to go over.

Samoa Joe - There is no interest from WWE.

Of course, the guy I'm interested the most in jumping ship, WWE has no interest in him.

Why does the WWE have interest in RVD? Seriously?

He's still a draw which = $

That's kind of what I'm hoping. Rock beats Cena and he goes to shake his hand for giving him "one hell of a match" and Cena goes absolutely ballistic and takes the Rock "out of action."

Puts Cena over big time as a heel and saves us from having a super huge Cena victory celebration at the end of Mania...

That would be the perfect finish actually. It's a win-win situation. The Rock wins to the millions and millions of fans' approval then gets a beatdown from the old John Cena. WWE can't go wrong with this ending!

Thinking back now, I'm actually quite sad we never got to see Ken Shamrock and/or Owen Hart as the WWF Champion(s) (top champions).

IIRC Shamrock got complaints from main eventers because he was working too stiff. It didn't help that Austin was riding his wave of mega stardom. When Ken Shamrock won the KOTR, I was ecstatic. Not only was he my pick from the start, but I was hoping it would lead to a WWF Championship. Alas it wasn't meant to be.

As for Owen Hart, it was baffling Bret didn't drop the title to him instead of Backlund. Owen could've easily had the title for a few days before getting squashed by Diesel.

Then the botched piledriver to Austin pretty much sealed Owen's fate. He didn't apologize for the incident (I'm hoping it was more out of fear instead of being an insenstive assh*le). Austin didn't want to work with him for a long time. Michaels refused to work with him because of Owen being an "unsafe worker" both due to the SummerSlam accident as well as fear of being potatoed from the Screwjob. I do think if Over The Edge could've been avoided, there's no doubt Owen would've eventually won the title.

It's the WWE. I'd be dipped in s*** and rolled in breadcrumbs if they went through with this ending.

Smackdown is being taped in my town next week and I forgot when they start doing NXT&Super Stars,My ticket says 7:00PM But not sure IF it's just for Smackdown itself or IF it includes the rest!!

And yes I care even about rookies&jobbers cause I just happen to be a fan of Titus and for SS..I am indeed a fan of Tyson/Yoshi/Primo/Epico/Air Boom/Gabriel/Drew/Mason&Regal and they are almost SS exclusive!

Plus more matches that equal more wrestling makes me happy!

RVD has become the king of phoning it in. WWE bringing him in would be a waste.

NXT will probably be 7 to 8 and then Smackdown 8-10. At least that was my experience. Also I like being there for the "jobbers" , they can still put on a decent match.

NXT will probably continue with their current season until the WWE Network comes on the air.

I've gone to plenty of live events and whatever time the ticket says is the time the show starts, in the case of a RAW.. it's a dark match and Superstars then RAW... while Smakcdown is dark match, NXT and then Smackdown.

Ric Flair said:
Let me just say after you were distorting the belt that proclaimed me the REAL World Champion, I'm going to tell you ALL! With a tear in my eye, this is the greatest moment in my life. When you walk around this world and you tell anybody you're number one, the only way you get to stay number one is to be number one! And this is the only title...in the wrestling world that makes you number one! When you are the king of the WWF, you RULE the world! Think about it like that. Mister Perfect. The Brain. We did it! WOO! It's the greatest moment of my life. I want to jump. I want to party, but I got to tell you like this. For the Hulk Hogans and the Macho Mans and the Pipers and the Sids, now it's Ric Flair and you all pay homage to The Man! WOO! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! I love it! I LOVE IT! I...LOVE IT!

:awesome:

^ Classic moment

I think the match listing is really good , can't think of anything missing.

6 man main event was looking like a good idea until Abyss rolled down the ramp. To be fair he didn't annoy me AS much tonight.

Good Knockouts match. Traci Brook's boobs should get a separate ring entrance announcement. Gail's really shining in the ring with good opponents to work with. Hopefully she retains at Genesis. A Mickie win is too early right now. Gad Karen Jarrett is gone since it lets the actual talent get more of the focus.

I loved that exchange between Sting and Flair. I never want to see them wrestle again but I never get tired of seeing them argue.

Dammit EY made me laugh again. He's probably the only guy in the business that could get away with the stupid stuff he has to do.

Report on WWE's Interest in Top TNA Stars - Beer Money, RVD & Others

Posted by Marc Middleton on 01/05/2012

- Recent online reports have suggested that WWE is interested in signing several talents from TNA once their contracts with the company expire. Courtesy of PWTorch, here is a breakdown of the rumored names and if WWE is interested:

* Rob Van Dam - WWE is interested in bringing him back.
Why? He's not going to garner any larger a fanbase. He's turned off more fans than he's brought into TNA. RVD 4:20 says he just coasted through his match.

* Matt Morgan - WWE was interested in Morgan last year but he chose to stick with TNA.
I... huh, I'm not a fan of his, but I can see the appeal. He might be worth bringing in.

* Bully Ray - WWE has shown some interest in the former Tag Team Champion. No word yet if they're interested in bringing Ray back with Devon as Team 3D.
Bully could make a great veteran who can still go in the 'E and work the midcard nicely. Too old to headline at this point, I think, as well as too many fans still lumping him in with the Dudley Boys. We do NOT need Devon in WWE unless he's a road agent like Road Dogg.

* The Pope - Officials were interested early last year when he was being pushed but not so much anymore.
Well, that's a stupid opinion. You're opinion is stupid, WWE.

* Samoa Joe - There is no interest from WWE.
No interest from me seeing him in the 'E, either.

* Ink Inc. - There may be some interest in bringing back Shannon Moore down the road but Jesse Neal is viewed as a developmental prospect at best.
No. No no no. **** no.

* James Storm and Robert Roode - WWE had interest last year in bringing Beer Money in as a tag team but word is that they're not interested in bringing the former TNA Tag Team Champions in as singles wrestlers.
What the **** are you thinking WWE?! WHAT THE **** ARE YOU THINKING?!

Goldust vs. Cody Update- The latest on Cody Rhodes vs. Goldust is that they may do something together at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
I approve of this. A good PPV to have it on, and a great way to close out Dustin's career.

'92 was the greatest Rumble match of all time, Daddy!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

At this point RVD can go into obscurity for all I care. TNA was stupid to put the title on him and i think now they realize it. AJ does better sh** than him anyway and he can actually work. The only reason WWE should bring him back is to job.

The only drawing he's done might be on his rolling papers.

I think that TNA photographer had an Andre shirt on. Cool.

Eric Yong/ODB love storyline???? Ugh...God no. break out the pepto. Looks like they are going to try to top all Santinos crappy romance storylines.

Can't believe I'm saying it but Joe and Magnus make a decent team. Magnus has impressed me in the tournament more than he ever had before. I always felt Williams was the better member of the British Invasion. After this is all over maybe they'll reform.

Flair's post match promos at Royal Rumble 92 and WrestleMania VIII were amazing!

Here ya go Nell.

My friend and I were talking about it, and ultimately, that's what we want to see. My friend thinks the best case scenario is Rock wins the match, but it causes Cena to finally "snap", and post match he beats the crap out of The Rock, finally going heel, setting up a future match where Cena will beat The Rock.

Odd thing for me to say as I don't like The Rock, but I think it would be better to allow the fans to enjoy his celebration to close Mania, and have Cena snap on Raw the next night when Rock calls him out for a handshake.

Thinking back now, I'm actually quite sad we never got to see Ken Shamrock and/or Owen Hart as the WWF Champion(s) (top champions). :csad:

From what I've read and heard from guys in the business Owen didn't want to be a top guy as it would mean too much time away from his family.

HBK wrestled Owen twice on Raw after he broke Austin's neck, there was never an issue between the two, Shawn even let Owen attack him from behind in a pretty physical post-match beatdown at the Degeneration X PPV.
