Love Big E.

This is a far cry from some of the very scripted sounding Tweets other superstars tend to post(such as Roman Reigns). Bray speaks seemingly out of character and boasts of his creativity(implying the backwoods cultist is all show) and Big E openly mocks his gimmick as unoriginal.

Yup, talking complete crap...what is new.

Its however always funny to see him ****ting on something we all know he would have done in a worse way.

Anyway, i really hope that Rollins and Styles will be the Top stars in the coming years.
I could also deal with Ambrose, if he finds his style again...he is for my taste a bit too boring in the ring currently.
Even the title didnt change it wrestling wise...he can do more.

Did anyone see the website slip that said Shane names Bryan as his GM?

Also, I really hope that either Angle or Sting end up the GM of Raw. The natural choice is Haich.. But I hope he just takes a backstage role from now on.

Dana's basically there to take losses for Charlotte, to help build up Charlotte's opponent without Charlotte losing champ credibility. And while Dana could use some refinement in the ring, it's a role that fits well for her in that stage of her career. We definitely don't want to see Bayley or Asuka in that role, and Eva Marie is still not good enough in the ring to even lose effectively, and the other NXT girls are a little too green and difficult to buy into as a henchwoman worthy of a Flair.

She should be taking beatings not losses because the matches just look awkward. I noticed Sasha basically did everything and just led her around by the arm. It was so obvious. Well beyond who called the match. If they wanted someone to take losses for Charlotte they should have aligned someone else with her.

Agreed. I wasn't big on Charlotte as a face, but she's definitely found her voice as a heel.

Yup. She was a good wrestler by as a face seemed stiff and unsure of herself. As a heel she's clearly having more fun and is at ease. She's not the best on the roster right now but she's improved greatly and she's definitely superior to other women from a similar mold who were in that spot in the past.

She's slowly developing that "Miz" quality where the second words come out of her mouth you want to boo her, no matter what she's actually saying. That's money.

Id put her above Miz now. She's at least watchable (and can work). When he's on I want to change the channel. I'm more interested in Maryse when they're on. She got thick in all the right places and is finally in the role she was meant to be in.

Me either. It just feels so alien that Vincent Kennedy McMahon might see AJ Styles and Seth Rollins as the top guys for his two brands.

Yeah. I think he's just flat out impressed with what AJ can do. Even with smaller guys the showman in Vince can be wowed by things like that. It's why he loves Shawn Michaels so much. If AJ was as good a talker as HBK and younger who knows how far he could go.

Rollins has some of those rock/metal music heel qualities so that doesn't surprise me at all. He's got a few things in common with Edge, Punk, and even H himself. Rollins is stepping into the same kind of top heel role all those guys held in the past.

If Vince was down on Roman even before this, I wonder who kept pushing him. Can't envision it being Triple H or Steph. Dunn maybe? Patterson?

Vince at some point with Dunn still pushing. Dunn more than Vince seems to get high on good looks beyond being big and muscular. It's there in the type of women and men pushed for a long time. Remember it's Dunn who pushed for Eva Marie more than anyone.

Lmao. Big E nailed him on that one.

I'd like to see Sting on Raw just to see him and Stephanie clash but you'd think she would pick a heel. He can't wrestle but if he had to get physical he can still come out and swing a bat. I'd take Bryan on either show if he's willing.

I'd love to see Sting as a GM.

at least let him do something meaningful in the WWE.......lol.

maybe Sting and Shane can turn Smackdown into a WCWesque legit competitor to RAW. bring back the spirit and glory days of WCW through Smackdown.

Not really looking forward to all these authority figures. I hope it doesn't get too crowded.

Authority figures taking on a lot of TV time seems to be a staple within WWE since the attitude era. I wish the "new" era moved away from that. Or employed the William Regal model.

I'll reserve judgement since it could be good depending on who they pick but most of the authority figures of the last few years have been terrible. Especially The Authority itself. The concept the way WWE has been doing it recently is stale and run into the ground. Especially the heel authority figure.

If I had my way the authority figure would only show up on camera every once in a while for big decisions the way it used to be with Tunney, Monsoon, and Michaels. Having them on shows in multiple segments each and every weak dilutes the impact and importance.

One thing I'll give them credit for is at least they seem to be trying to make some of the various levels of authority make sense instead of treating them like they're the same thing. GMs and Commisioners and Presidents and Chairmen are not the exact same thing, WWE. In the past they all served basically the same storyline functions with logic going out the window.

I really like what TNA did with DJZ last night. He looked good in his two matches.

Watch out fot Allie when she gets in the ring. The woman has talent.

Matt and Reby were freaking hilarious last night.

Mike Bennett and Maria are great together. (Captain Obvious moment.)

Moose vs Lashley is flat something I have to see. Moose is a great signing for TNA. I've became a Lashley fan in the last few months. He's won me over.

Marty Belle brought the Knockouts Championship match down a notch. The other ladies kept me in it though.

Abyss vs Bram was boooooooring. Still think Rosemary and Steve are really cool.

The EC3/Galloway brawl was fine I guess. Not intense enough for me.

Good job TNA. Pretty nice episode.

I hope that they start minimizing the "evil authority figure out to ruin the fan's day" stuff. Yes it was great during the "Mr. McMahon" vs. Stone Cold days, and even Eric Bischoff could pull it off (mostly) as GM of Raw. But it's gotten less and less effective and more and more stale in recent years.

You know one of my favorite relatively recent "onscreen authority figures" was Teddy Long as GM of Smackdown. Not only was he entertaining, and didn't eat up too much screentime week to week, but he was usually either a face, or at least fair and impartial.

Teddy was okay but he actually did some pretty unsavoury BS things in his time as a face lol. Like basically screwing Christian over a couple of times in favor of Orton just because Orton was playing the face.

New Day/Wyatt brawl was cool but it didn't fit wwe's style. That brawl and Jeff vs Matt Hardy in TNA fits Lucha Underground's tv style perfectly.

Why do we not have green beans? They are a delicacy. Please, prepare green beans post-haste! And whatever you do, when you come back, do not bring mustard, because I strongly dislike mustard...

I don't know anything about the Matt/Jeff one, but I loved the New Day/Wyatt backyard brawl.

Great feud by both cliques.

Frankly, I haven't wanted to see a Pay-Per-View in a long time but I'm interested in Battleground.

Shield triple threat
Cena/Enzo/Cass vs. The Club
New Day vs. Wyatt Family (guessing)
Owens vs. Zayn
Return of Randy Orton.

Yup, my interest is piqued.

New Day vs. the Wyatts was okay, but I could hardly see anything. Final Deletion was weird, strange and a bit cheesy, but also at the same time was entertaining to watch.

NXT Championship match announced for the next NXT Takeover:

Joe vs. Nakamura

Bobby Roode is officially NXT as he will debut on August 10th in an in ring promo, according to recent spoilers.
