I can't remember, but you sold your PS4?

and yeah, like you, I'd like to stick with only one console this gen, with maybe a Nintendo console as a secondary.

that being said.....what the X1 has to offer this year is very tempting.

I think a good goal to buy a console is to have at least 5 games you must have.

Assuming you already have a next gen console. Otherwise, it's a pretty superfluous purchase.

Well, I don't know if I would call those must haves, so much as "yeah I'd pick those up".

So far I just have Halo 5. Though some of those E3 games look pretty promising. Rare Replay I guess would sort of count.

for me, Halo MCC or Halo 5 are kind of in the "nice to have" or "yeah I'd pick those up" category.

I'm sure there are probably more PS4 games I could have added to my list. Things like the Tales games or other JRPGs are more in the "nice to have" group.

I also think the X1 has more immediate exclusives that interest me, whereas most of the PS4 exclusives that interest me are in the future.

My current game library only includes Batman Arkham Knight,Grand Theft Auti V,Halo MCC and MK X with Madden NFL 16 being the next one on my list. I obviously consider them must haves for me personally and am very satisfied

I reckon the point in time when the average gamer will run out of space on their provided hard drive will come soon. I've put very few retail games on there and most of the space is taken up by GWG games.

anyways, if I could boil it down to just one upcoming exclusive on each console that I must have, I'd probably say it's down to SF V for the PS4 and Tomb Raider for the X1.

however, in that case, the PS4 has the edge, because SF V is full console exclusive to the PS4, whereas Tomb Raider is only timed exclusive to the X1. and there have been rumors in the past few days that Tomb Raider will make its way to the PS4 in Q4 2016 at a reduced price of $40.

whether or not that report is true, the chances are much higher for TR to come to the PS4 than for SF V to come to the X1.

I don't believe SFV will be a full console exclusive. It's friggin' Capcom.. Plus it's already coming to PC. Initial launch will be.. But give it six months to a year and SSFVTHDWINDOWSXBone will happen.
