I liked the film. Loki and Thor made it interesting. Malekith was pretty great too and the action was also fantastic. But it could've been FAAAAAAR better.

Personally I just wanna see this:

Malekith was a lame-o and they completely wasted Christopher Eccleston in that role.

I do think they'll do a better job utilizing Cate Blanchett's talents this time though.

Will Surtur be in Thor 3?

No one knows, but I hope so. I think the best use is he's a big imposing force more than a calculating villain. Hela will be the antagonist throughout the movie, which I think she's capable of being more interesting and he's basically either a boss fight or a looming threat they have to stop (or maybe stop from getting unleashed).

That moment with the Sons Of Odin and the All Father... Please let the fates allow Hopkins to come back to make that a possibility.

per LR normalcy... sounds like speculation built on pre-existing speculation (the Hela destroying thor's hammer info) combined with Heimdall in Hel in AoU

I thought Mljonir was forged with a metal of a dying star or some stuff like that. Would that not make it rare material? Forgive me, I'm don't know much about Thor's lore lol

It was forged from Uru metal, which is indeed a very rare metal.

I'm not sure Mjolnir can actually be destroyed, but I could be mistaken.

Ya, they definitely changed it's origin in the original Thor movie compared to the comics. Not sure how they'd go about getting a replacement, as you pointed out they would need to get it from the heart of a dying star.

All Odin said in the first movie was that it was "forged in the heart of a dying star". He never specified what material it was made out of or where that material came from. It could still be Uru, like in the comics.

we also don't know what the heart of a dying star is.. the power of a star could theoretically be Encased inside the metal.

either way.. trolls have a way with magical artifacts.. so theoretically he could be going to them to forge a new (or repair) the hammer

If Mjolnir was destroyed the movie would most certainly involve a way to repair it. It's far too much a part of who Thor is to go on without it.

As for the rarity of it, that kind of was ruined by Simonson when Odin just ordered another for Beta Ray Bill. That part was the big flaw of an otherwise wonderful Ragnarok arc imo.

Am I remembering it wrong but, when the hammer was broken by Thor killing Bor in the comics didn't Doctor Strange repair it? Cuz... That is a perfect set up for a post credit scene.

The hammer was destroyed a few times before. If the hammer is destroyed would anyone have a problem with Thor getting the Axe hammer upgrade?
