Thor's Release Date Moved

Um. Why leave Iron Man 2 by its lonesome in 2010, and then cram Thor and Cap with Spider-Man 4 in 2011?

I'm all for pushing back Avengers, but 2011 seems a little unbalanced.

I wasn't even keeping track enough to know that there was a prior release date.

No biggie. I've been waiting 23 years for this movie, what's another 1?

2011? Super hero movies won't even be en vogue by then. :oldrazz:

Well, this gives us more time to see the awesomenss of Thor on thhe big screen.

I have to admit that I am happy to see it pushed back a year. I was starting to really worry about the quality of this movie (with the short turnaround time)

Rage

Now it won't be rushed, not that it was destined to be rushed, but Branah deserves time on this property.

I agree. I think it will be beautiful to behold when he's ready to release it.

Oh well, too bad we'll have to wait another year, but it makes more sense. Branagh did say they were not very far along the last time he was interviewed, so they probably need more time. Pushing the Avengers to 2012 is a good idea.

Eh, I suppose this was for the better. Iron Man 2 is our only big superhero movie out next summer, but thank god we got Green Lantern in the fall.

2011 definitely seems crowded with Captain America, Thor and Spider-Man 4.

2012 will probably be Batman 3 and The Avengers?

They need to get Thor out of this June date. June is death to super hero films for some reason. Release Thor on memorial day, then get Cap on 4th of July (why don't they already!?).

I know right... Sony is probably worried that Thor too close would eat SM4's legs.
