RT score down to 56%. It just keeps getting lower.
I hope it doesn't drop below 50.
and considering that A LOT of us were very hopeful that this film would be great due to all of the early buzz about it along with the clips that we saw, only to hear an handful of people say that the film was average, bad, great, good, disappointing, awesome...I don't know, it's just irritating to be sure.
Unless you have a personal or financial stake in the film, I see no reason to get irritated about anything.

It's irritating for those that waited three years for this film to come out and thought that it'd be better than what it's shaping out to be at the moment. If you go by the issues that EVERYONE here are bringing up, MOS seems to be nothing more than a comic book film where it has awesome but overstayed fight sequences with an incoherent plot.
I have a personal stake.
If it doesn't do well I won't get a sequel.
I really am baffled as to what the critics are finding wrong about this movie? Great acting, solid story, jaw-dropping spectacle. What exactly is rubbing these guys the wrong way with this film?
Well, what exactly were people expecting? I mean sure we had those somber moments in the trailers and like one or two TV spots, but it seemed WB was giving/advertising exactly what some people claimed they wanted after SR.
You think this film is bomb or something?
You think this film is bomb or something?

Honestly, I don't think anyone can really tell at this point on whether this film will be successful, moderate, or an failure at this point.
Plus, what bugs me the most is how I keep hearing about:
the way that Pa Kent dies, the issues people had with Superman and Lois, and how Superman doesn't come as an caring person that's aware that people are literally dying around him as he continues to fight Zod
I am more worried that even if it makes money Warner Brothers will take all the reviews to heart and either abandon ship or alter the series drastically.
