No doubt. Based on the on set video we saw of this scene being filmed it looks like Bane makes a whole big speech here with these Dent photos before he rips them up.

Major thumbs up to Nolan for his unique interpretation of Bane.

I think Nolan will top his version of the Joker with Bane just as Burton topped his Joker with the Penguin. Add in Catwoman too.

Wow. Ripping up Dent's picture just gave me goosebumps. Looks like all of Gotham might find out about Dent's corrupt actions as Two-Face.

Agreed. Bane looks more disturbing than the comic version. The guy looks like he came from a stage of hell. Now I'm glad that they decided to redesign his look for this film. I admit I did underestimate the good people working for Nolan & Co. But still hoping for a better Batsuit but I'll get into that in a different thread.

I seriously doubt he'll be able to top Ledger's Joker, but if it comes close that will be awesome. The main thing I want from the new movie is more focus on Bruce.

Good point bringing up the look of Roy Batty, as I remember saying many months ago, Nolan could take inspiration from Batty for Bane.

can anyone seriously tell me he would've looked better than that in something resembling a luchador outfit? the only argument you've got is the mask. and even then, they've shaped it so the skin parts match up where the white parts of the comic mask would've been. it looks great.

It looks good, but it doesn't look like Bane to me: Bottom line.
