By the way, instead of judging from spy pics, why not look at something we know is in context.

You don't need CGI, platform shoes or wooden boxes. Just by how you position someone in front of a camera you can manipulate their size. Having him dominate the foreground while Batman sits back gives the impression he could very well be 6'5" or at least have a size advantage over Batman. When they're actually face to face, it's going to be even harder to notice because they're probably going to be in a fast paced brawl and not *booping* each other in the head then hugging it out.

Then of course what he looks like standing next to other characters on screen, another thing we have yet to see.

So I could be wrong, but there's no need to panic over his size yet until you actually see more of it the way Nolan and Pfister want you to see it.

Then again Bane could be a guy with a Napoleonic complex that started roiding

Yep, the promo shot and the teaser make me optimistic that we'll get a large and menacing Bane, even though the spy pics might not really show that. I mean, there's clearly an effort by the filmmaker to emphasise the character's imposing physical attributes judging by those official shots...his freaking back practically covers half of the screen in that promo shot and likewise with that shot at the end of the teaser.

They should be worried: Chris Nolan has Bane in his hands and he's going to do what he needs to do with him." Same goes for the film.

The big finale (or the climax) is set to take place in Los Angeles. I'm inclined to believe that they are, in fact, filming the first or second act as we speak. I think they still have to go to New York as well.... hmmmmm.
