Who would have been the last actor to win best actor at the oscars for a thriller type film? Denzel in Training Day?

Those pictures are glorious.

Looks like Hardy and Oldman are hitting it off very well, they'll probably be great chums after these three films they're doing together. I think Gary will be a great mentor for Tom

Those two are great.

I'm really hoping we see Bane in a suit at some point. A vest underneath would be a plus.

Hardy's freaking exploding out of the suit.

Interactions between Gordon and Bane is something I'm really looking forward to.

Benedict Cumberbatch, personally I hate him and don't think he's a very good actor but in this ****ed up country (UK) that I live in people seem to love him.
He stars in a TV series of Sherlock Holmes which is average and wants to be the next James Bond.
Look up "Topman". The alien-like models are what the majority of under 25's in Britain aim to look like :csad:

Excuse you, he may be weird looking but he's absolutely brilliant as Sherlock Holmes unlike Robert Downey Jr in that ****** film.
Britain should be proud, I feel like all the best actors right now are British. And there're the Irish too !

Heres a better pic.

Notice how the sole isn't completely flat, but is more elevated in the heel area, forcing Hardy basically to stand on his tip-toes.

Um, the heels themselves look like fairly standard thickness for boots.

Also, the reason his left foot isn't completely flat is because, as you can tell by the angle of his legs, his weight is on his right foot, which you'll notice is completely flat on the ground.

You are seeing things.

Oh, and is Bane Irish in the movie?

I think he's smiling because of the hug. John Hurt is awesome.

I don't know what's not to like about him. He seems great in interviews etc. And he was an awesome guest host on "Have I Got News for You".

Benedict Cumberbatch is awesome, and is quickly rising up on my list of favorite actors.

The guy stars in an excellent Sherlock Holmes television series, and now finds himself working with the likes of Steven Spielberg, Danny Boyle, Tomas Alfredson, and Peter Jackson.

He is literally going to melt my face off as Smaug in The Hobbit.

Thank you captain obvious, I can see that his left heel is elevated and his weight is on his right foot. That doesn't change the fact that the heels are not "standard thickness", unless you wear specialized timberland boots with two-inch+ lifts. The angle of the sole also isn't "standard" for boots, work boots generally lay flat and don't increase in angle towards the heel.

Yes, please let us know how Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is. In addition to Oldman's performance, I've heard Tom Hardy is a standout in that film.

Oh, and damn you UK'ers for getting it this week :o.

:csad:

Its been pushed back to December here in the States correct?

Yes :csad:.

I just keep telling myself, "It's for Oldman. It's for Oldman."

It kind of looks like a smaller head is popping out of Hardy's head and pecking Oldman in the face with his nose.

Oldman's expression doesn't make that any less true.

Damnit.

Each trailer or clip I see of Oldman in TTSS, it makes me wish February were here sooner just so I could watch the Academy Awards.

For some stupid-ass reason, yes.

Benedict Cumberpatch is also quite possibly the most British name I've ever heard. All it's missing is an '-ington'.
