So do I, which is why I think it's not his Bane voice. I think the intention was always to redo the lines in post in that scene.

I think if anything well get a slightly rendered version of the voice from the prologue in the final film, nothing more and Im fully satisfied with that.

This is pretty much what I had expected and I think its cold, brutal and badass, dosent even sound like Hardy to me.

if anything it sound like he has a gutteral growl to his speech kind of like a brittish nathan explosion

at no time did I think Nolan would actually use a south American Spanish accent

This is pretty much what I had expected and I think its cold, brutal and badass, dosent even sound like Hardy to me.

Aside from the accent, it sounded like he was talking through a radio or a walkie talkie.

If you listen to the part where he goes on about his mask, you can hear a little change in tone, like autotune lol. Not that it's bad, just noticed it after a few listens.

Not all South Americans are dark skinned and of native descent. Especially in Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile were the majority are all white and of Spanish/Serb/Italian descent.

That's sort of a silly comment to make. Big generalization.

Yeah and in all the countries I've mentioned there are people way lighter skinned than Hardy. A ton of people with German ancestry too.

Mexican born and bred kid - pretty good fighter too time will tell if he reaches superstardom

I don't think it's an issue. Some people in my family are Hispanic and most of them are pretty pale.

Jeez This Means War is going to be an interesting watch if Hardy goes from 170lb to 200lb back and forth in the same scene or even the same movie. What were they thinking to not let him get back down before reshoots?

i just thought he was pale even for white people

my dad is straight up irish/scottish and hes not that pale

it looks like hardy's bane hasn't spent any time in the sun is what i mean not ethnic wise

The audio isn't that great on that great but Bane sounds a little bit English and a little Eastern European to me.

Hardys accents sounds a bit like it did in Scenes Of A Sexual Nature and Cape Wrath

True. I knew a very lovely Brazilian woman who was often mistaken for being French or German because he skin was so light and her hair was brown.

As far as the voice thing goes , they need to fix it. I don't know if they'll have time before the prolouge is released , but certainly by July there's no reason why it shouldn't be done. Bale caught so much flack the last time for his Batman growl. Imagine what it would be like if the audience can't even understand what Bane is saying through the whole film.
