I hope Bane's height as well as strength will be increased some point in the movie, in union with taking the venom-steriod in the comics/animated series. Alot of things look like they're gonna be good, but some things bad of course...but at the same time, Nolan hasn't done a bad movie and he's an excellent writer, I believe in him.

Can we please let this go? Please? It's not going to happen. It's been stated more than once that what Bane is taking is essentially a kind of extreme anesthesia because he's in extreme pain from a previous injury that I guess he never really heeled from or something. It is not a steroid called Venom that makes him become the Hulk.




Anyways...

Thought those of who were all wet for Tom/Bane would like this (if you haven't seen it already since it's in the Photo Thread)...

Is it bad that, despite Bane being an evil sadistic terrorist bent on destroying Gotham, I really, really want to hang out with him? Maybe grab a beer, shoot the s**t, and so on?

Tube feeding, perhaps. Maybe the tubes in the mask can detach to suck down liquids. It'd look pretty silly, but so would Batman having to take a "poop break" during one of his night shifts. Imagine trying to take that suit off inside a bathroom stall...

I'm pretty sure someone made that before we got an actual front look at the mask. They were just going off what we could see from the first pic of Bane. So really, it's pretty impressive how accurate it is from going off a side pic.

I'm sure this has been brought up already, but have any of you seen Hardy in The Take? I had never even heard of it before last weekend but I just watch all four parts because it was so effing good. Hardy was absolutely brilliant in it and it further cemented my belief that his Bane will be phenomenal. I already figured he would be great after seeing him in Bronson and other films, but in The Take, he was a vicious animal; a damn-near soulless bastard. I can't wait to see him take on another bad guy role.
