if we can have a TV Flash and a movie Flash exist at the same time, then we can have the same for Superman.

Different versions of the character to appeal to different audiences.

Oh, and I do hope Batgirl shows up on Supergirl.

I am not disagreeing with any of that, I just think WB might well do though.

well, hopefully allowing Superman on Supergirl represents a change in that philosophy that could pave the way for Superman to have a more substantial TV presence.

I honestly don't see another Superman sequel happening... He's just gonna be in the Justice League movies and in other peoples movies. Maybe we'll get another Superman in like 4 or 5 years but I think it's a good time for a Superman series

Yeah. I suspect a MOS is the last thing on WB's minds at this point. I'm even skeptical Cavill will stay in the role after the JLA films.

I think a Superman tv series with this version is much more likely to happen than another Snyderverse solo Superman film is.

Ya to be honest I think the same. And I know id enjoy a Berlanti, lighter tone Superman more than DCEU Superman. Really can't wait to see this version

I did a thing.

I'm hoping he's has the classic shield colors and trucks. And then Superboy can come with his red and black one.

I'd love to see Tyler in the Classic suit, but I don't think it's going to happen. Mainly because WB/DC seem to have a no red trunks policy these days.

Do you guys think they'll give him Blue contacts? To make his eyes Blue, I mean.

Yeah, I don't anticipate seeing them since WB/DC thinks it's such a "problem". Plus, it didn't really look like he had any in that blurry scene last season.

If they change their minds, I like the boxer briefs look like the ones you see in Darwyn Cooke's or Dave Bullock's art rather than regular classic briefs one.

Hey, you, with the thing...I like that. -(Christopher Walken voice)

I kind of wish they'd of had the nerve to skew a bit classic Supes :D

Flush the trunks down the f***ing toilet and let the purists cry once more.

Tongue and cheek on that pic.

The trunks ain't coming back, and let's be honest the MOS suit proves you can update without the trunks and it looks great.

I've always though the boxer briefs-style trunks were stodgier looking than the usual briefs-style.

Still kind of irked that they cast someone so close in age to Benoist (not to mention the rest of the cast.... he's 7 years younger than the actress playing Lois' little sister), but I guess I'd be cool with it if they wrote it off with a whole Kryptonian's age slower than humans at a certain point kind of thing.... they've done that in comics, haven't they?

Maybe it's just the beard, but he looks mid-30s to me.

I'd be happy if they took inspiration from the Smallville Season 11 comic costume. It featured a two-tone blue body suit, a red-and-gold belt, and no briefs. I think it's the most successful briefs-less modern update of the costume, respectful to the Classic without going overboard on ornate detailing (Man of Steel/BvS, New 52) or jettisoning more iconic elements (Rebirth).
