Yep.....and since we just got a pic of Melissa in suit, showing that there doesn't seem to be much change if any to the suit for this season.....and they were only in Day 2 of filming....I am sure that will be very soon (hopefully before spy pics show up) :)

‘Supergirl’ Producer on Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman, Cat Grant’s Return, and Lynda Carter [Comic-Con 2016]

“Part of it was in season one we wanted to really just establish Kara,” Schechter said. “A lot of what we do on these shows is comedy, action, drama and family. It’s the family you’re given, it’s the family you choose. Kara had to really choose a family and build a family here. Clark is the one part of her family that’s still alive, now that Laura Benanti is playing Melania Trump. It’s a way to learn more about Kara. Tyler is amazing. I’ve seen him in the suit and it’s very cool. You see it and you’re like oh, Greg Berlanti and I went to a costume fitting the other day and we were a little speechless. It’s our costume designer who came up under Colleen [Atwood] but it’s working off of Colleen’s design for the Supergirl suit.”

If Tyler's suit is going to be based off of the Supergirl suit, it may mean that his S insignia may have that blue background instead of yellow.

I would assume that already, but I kinda wondered if they would've kept the yellow so it could be more "color coded" (i.e. red and yellow = Superman, red and blue = Supergirl).

It just sounds like all you have to do is take Supergirl's suit and make a male version of it, and there's Superman's suit. Again, not a bad thing, as it does make sense. But we need more than that, more info on the details, which we know will be the case.

We really need to see the suit. Please guys!

So his suit is being based off of hers. In real life. But on the show, she arrived after him, so her suit is based off of his. Or more exactly, Winn made her suit similar to Superman's. So any difference in their suits, if there are any, could be explained by Winn using a little creative license.
So if his has a yellow background and she has blue, it could be blue because blue is Winn's favorite color.

Sure....why not.

Supergirl's costume is much better, imo... but it looks nice. Nothing incredible, honestly.

I'm not thrilled, but I will of course keep an open mind until we see it on the show.

Not a fan of the belt and the cape attachment. Also the S on his chest is different than hers.

I don't love it. But, I don't hate it. Serviceable.

The belt is rough but overall I dig it

Change that damn belt tho

damn this might be the smallest superman yet lol

oliver queen and diggle are more jacked

The only thing they got right is the S to distinguish the two super cousins. It's a mix of Rebirth and New 52. Red underwear seems passe to DC and WB.

It's weird how thin that pictures makes him look, because he looked really big on Teen Wolf. From that picture, not a fan. But knowing Teen Wolf - just looks like a bad picture.

It has the same problem the SR suit had, its hides any muscle you might actually have. Unless its just the angle but he looks really small.

Other TV Superman costumes for comparison

I think the new one is the best so far.

That supergirl looks bigger than him, wider too - gotta be an awkward angle. I think they wanted him to be in the background so Supergirl held prominence. Then changed their minds and wanted them side by side, so they brought him digitally to be beside her. Kinda what it looks like. His face even looks really photoshopped, like they had to bring him to the front and expand the image and that's resulted. It just doesn't look like the same guy that much from Teen Wolf. Granted some years have passed, but his face alone looks... airbrushed or drawn and somewhat compressed in.

Looking at it more up close, it looks like they told him to stand sideways.

For some reason, that picture makes him look like the guy in Mulholland Drive who kept having the nightmare about the mutant homeless dude.
