I wonder how many sadistic/sarcastic jokes Venom will make when fighting Spidey?

Let's hope the dialogue between the two is as fluid as the animation. This is one of the reasons why Venom is such a cool character to me: He gets mocked at and he retorts with something just as funny but with a sadistic twist to it. His sense of humor is what really makes him badass along with the grinning black visual :P

I'm sure it will be. I mean, the dialogue in this show so far has been fantastic.

Okay, why don't we all start our speculations over exactly what Peter may do to Gwen or Eddie when he's "Venomized" that would make Eddie hate him?

Heck, I want your opinions on how Gwen would react to Venom-Peter.

Yeah that's what I have always appreciated about Venom, he's dark sense of humor.

Well I can't come up with any ideas at the moment but it has to be something that he does before he gets the black suit, since doing it after won't make sense.

Well, as I said, I think Peter may say something to Brock or do something that really makes Brock mad. If you ask me, it will most likely involve Gwen, but I'm not 100% sure.

You people are once again setting yourselves up for disappointment with Venom. Remember, I'm going to be here to make fun of all of those who don't like this version of Brock and how he becomes Venom. It's simply what I do. Oh I will make fun of your pain. :p

LOL, you're too much, Visionary.

How are we "people" setting ourselves for disappointment with Venom again? Sure 616 Venom is flawed, but there are times he works pretty good. Ultimate Venom was a success. The Venom from the 90 TAS took 616, modified it and made it work. The Venom in Spider-Man 3, despite lack of screen-time, worked pretty good, too. And so far, Eddie Brock in Spectacular Spider-Man is light years in character development. We are in the advent of Venom, and the writers of the spectacular Spider-Man have yet to let us down, I doubt they're going to fail now. Oh sure, you'll succeed in making fun of those who are let down because they'll nitpick everything, but not me Visionary. I'm immune to your barrage of attempted arrogant insults which are never necessary. So get your fork and be ready to eat crow, Visionary.

Same for me, Visionary.:oldrazz::grin::p

Well said. Though, I'll be happy with whatever I get. Screen adaption of Venom was never disappointing, at least for me.

Great post, though as you know, I loved Venom with all of my heart in Spider-Man 3!

I'm was pleasantly surprised by Venom in Spider-Man 3, personally I thought it was done very well! SM3 Venom fans FTW!

I want Venom to say something like this "How's it hangin'... 'bro'?!"

Personally, Venom should be cerebral and cruel when it comes to insulting Parker. Eddie/Venom should say something like, "What would Uncle Ben think if he knew about the things you've done?" etc.

That line would make Peter so angry and I'm sure Eddie Brock/Venom would be so glad about Peter getting angry.

So are you saying that everyone here has expectations that are too high to please, or are you saying that you naturally expect "Spec SM"'s take on Eddie/Venom to fail regardless?

Do you think Eddie would threaten Gwen in front of Peter (instead of May) or something?

For that matter, do you think he might tell Gwen Peter's secret so she'll know he's a scam artist for making money off himself?
