Venom Revamp

I may download it to my computer tomorrow, I'd really like to read those comics, it'll help me learn more.
 
Yeah, they are because there's so much that can be done with the character. Besides, reading them will help me brush up on my Spider-Man history.
 
hey I just got back from a weekend at my girlfriends college so i didnt get a chance to see the episode..was eddie brock in it again?

Very true, the character of Peter Parker/Spider-Man really is easy to realate to, so that's another reason he's so popular and there's so much that could be done with the character. :up:

Anyway, I wonder if we will see Eddie Brock in the next episode. For some reason, I really think we will.
 
We need to, he's need as much screen time before he becomes Venom as possible so that his character is developed as much as possible and so that we can see him becoming darker as he edges closer to becoming Venom.
 
Well i think that their venom seems a little less up to par then the other venom from S:TAS, i mean i love what there doing with eddie brock, but the design and everything looks wrong for this venom.

Eddie Brock was so much better in the 90's series, like he was a scuzzy *****e from the start, and he was still well developed before he became Venom

Well for the style there doing for this show, I'd disagree. I think the design looks great with how the show is. This Eddie Brock already have these big brooding shoulders already compared to the rest of his body, so it just seems natural that the same would go with Venom

Kind of hard to make comparisons right now until we see why this relationship between Peter and Eddie goes so sour that Eddie wants to destroy him. I think it's an interesting take on it and we will see how it plays out.
 
I didn't like the 90s animated Venom... never liked that blue/purple color scheme, and thought Hank Azaria's voice was too over the top. The Brock character was completely one note and single minded. I don't really follow Venom in the comics, but I like the approach they are taking with this new series to slow develop it. As far as I'm concerned, they've already out done Spider-man 3 when it comes to characterizing Eddie Brock.
 
Yep, he'll think that Peter lied to Gwen so he wouldn't have to bother with her while he really goes out with some hot redhead he's just met.
 
Yea i see that happening too. The thing though with peter and gwen is he is an idiot and doesnt realize her feelings for him.

I really hated the bizarre plot of Dormmammu and carnage and that whole direction they moved him in that series.
 
Well we know the symboite arch is episode 10-13 so some think peter has the suit for 10 and 11 and then venom is in both 12 and 13 or he is just in 13 and peter has it for 3 episodes.
 
Yea we got to wait to official spoilers/pics and episode descriptions come out.
 
The last four episodes are supposed to be an arc, so I'm guessing that will be the whole symbiote thing and the focus will be on Peter and Eddie while he fights the Sinister Six as a "guys to beat up in symbiote suit" subplot.

that's what I think. he'll have it for 3 episodes and Venom just 1.
but maybe we get to see Venom only in the last minute of the season.
