Come to think about it... Cate Blanchett is also australian and has done many different accents in movies. They might be wanting that for the role.

No. But considering her age, it's not as likely as other stuff. Cheetah does seem like a cooler role than a Hippolyta or a Circe.

I'm not usually a kneejerk fanboy whiner but Hippolyta seems all kinds of wrong for Kidman. And I wasn't even in the camp that thought the actress should necessarily resemble Gadot--which Kidman doesn't at all. I'll give Kidman a chance, I certainly won't spend the next two yrs complaining but I really, really hope Kidman is actually Circe. I think she'd nail that role, and it'll probably be much juicier than the Hippolyta part anyway. Kidman for Circe!!!

My cousin for some weird reason mixes Nicole up for Connie Nielsen. He thought the woman from Gladiator was cast.

Connie Nielsen was actually DC/WB's first choice to play Lara in MOS if I remember correctly. It could have been a little mini-Gladiator reunion between her and Russell Crowe.

IDK if her actual age has been stated, but I kind of picture her as being around Diana's age. Maybe a little older, but not nearly twice as old.

It's a possibility... I really doubt it, but it's possible.

Well, Artemis is usually depicted as younger and of bigger build than most Amazons, so I don't really see Kidman in the role. I do hope they won't go entirely New 52 and will introduce the character, by the way.
