The Wonder Woman Costume Thread - - Part 11

This one is just...wow.

Why are her legs so short? The proportions look off. She literally looks like a dwarf.

The slits make sense to me personally, but it's whatever at this point.

Or the sword! Or the extra-high thigh-slits/gaps in the skirt (as much as it is meant to evoke the classic "panties" costume)!
I think the skirt should have looked more like this in terms of length:

Too long, it would flow all over the place.

I think the more important part is it not having that stupid nonsensical slit. The length can be shorter as long as it doesn't have that.

I like the original. I think it cleverly evokes the iconic WW bathing suit shape without actually being one. Same thing with the top. It keeps the iconic strapless design but the added element of the sword strap sorta subconsciously keeps your mind off the ridiculousness of it.

A long skirt could work too, but I'd prefer one designed from the ground up in that case. Great manips though.

So WW gets a new shield for her prequel movie from the looks of the DC special.

There’s your variation in costume design:

In BvS, the “Sam Browne” belt is across her left shoulder; in WW, it’s across her right.

:word:

It is most unfortunate thing that I got to see cheap SyFy channel's shows on more than one occasion and this looks nothing like them.

It literally looks like a mix of Sleepy Hollow meets Netflix Daredevil made cheaply for SyFy.

Well, we're definitely seeing different things here. If I'm getting any vibe from the cinematography it is that of LOTR.

Yeah, I can definitely see it.

Though Diana reminds me more of female Aragorn in this shot.
