wb already has "their kevin feige".
His name is geoff johns who has been one of their star writers for the last decade and change and who's work has served as influences on the latest dc live action media. It's the reason he was promoted to chief creative officer in the first place.
So far he's been spearheading the tv projects more than anything else but starting with dawn of justice you should really start seeing his influential mitts on the movies.

Except Johns is nowhere near Feige's caliber and is as useful as Jeph Loeb in Marvel's TV division

Thanks for saying that. I didn't want to say it because people will bash you for being a "Marvel guy" for just speaking the truth but it is what it is. WB really just needs to assign that job to Johns and just say handle it, bomb or not. If BvS underachieves, who doesn't believe that WB won't "reassess" their plans for the DCCU? They need to stay the course regardless and even learn from Marvel if they want success. Not saying Marvel is perfect(hello! TIH!)but they have earned the money that Disney has spent and then some back. I honestly believe DC can do the same for WB but they have to plan this right!
Insulting Loeb is disgusting after the work he did on daredevil.
Not even. Not even a little. If anyone is their Kevin Feige, it's their Kevin, Mr. Kevin Tsujihara.
Without him, Warners would likely not be pushing as hard as they are for a DC Cinematic Universe.
Even though he's the CEO of Warners, and has to oversee every bit of it, it's been very clear that he cares very much about the development of the DCCU. Even going as far as hiring multiple writers for their higher risk DC projects, 'Aquaman' and 'Wonder Woman'; a move seen as idiotic and a sign of disarray at Warners by many, but is merely a way of ensuring they adapt those characters the best they can.
And as far as the tv projects go (specifically the Arrowverse shows), Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and Marc Guggenheim are who we have to thank for how well they are doing. Johns had little to nothing to do with those shows.
Like you and Jason, I too am a DC man but also one who recognizes the big picture unlike others
If the WB really want their cinematic universe they'll need fours
1) Ditch Goyer and Snyder and bring in a Feige who's nothing like the said two
IMO, that's not the reverse opposite of Marvel. Introducing everyone in one movie and then spinning off the characters is the opposite which is what they are doing. I'd maybe agree with you if any of the characters in the MCU shows appeared in the movies but so far they haven't.2) Do the reverse opposite of Marvel: Have Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman on TV while the remaining four JL member have their movies tied into the shows in time for the first JL movie
Vertigo and Wildstorm aren't part of the DCCU.3) Have all Vertigo and Wildstorm properties on film and cable TV only
That would be doing what Marvel is doing with the Infinity Stones, DC is rumored to be more filmmaker/character driven.4) Start world building with other properties to build up a Crisis esque film

Buddy they didn't get themselves on those shows. It was thanks to previous professional relationships with Johns (Kreisberg & Guggenheim in comics and Berlanti with the Green Lanter film) that they got those gigs and Johns is heavily involved on The Flash show. Both Berlanti and Kreisberg have said it.
Yes Kevin Tsujihara is a big factor in that when it comes to DC he is like the anti-Robinov but guess what? he's got way more responsibilities on his table than just worrying about DC Entertainment IP's. This is why he and Nelson appointed Johns CCO in the first place. Guess who set up the back story for MOS with Goyer and Snyder? and guess who is working with Lord and Miller to make sure they nail The Flash? it's not Kevin Tsujihara. It's the guy who Nelson appointed in that role in the first place.
Tell that to Mark Pedowitz and crossover happy folk on various spots of social media (especialy those who want John Constantine to be a all-of-the-sudden expert on the Lazarus Pit) and that's just TV
