Agreed. I maintain my opinion that his two best films are Above The Law and Marked For Death.
Many people praise Under Seige as his best film, but I disagree. Tommy Lee Jones' character was built up to be a total badass, a worthy adversary of Steven Seagal's. But in their climactic fight, which lasted all of 30 seconds, Tommy Lee Jones gets cut and stabbed about a dozen times and his head driven into a computer monitor, while Steven Seagal gets a tiny little cut over his eye. THAT's supposed to be an even match up? The climaxes of Above The Law and Marked For Death are far less one sided, making them far more exciting and thus, more entertaining.
I'm a big fan of Glimmer Man. I see to remember the action in The Patriot being pretty good too, although it's been a long time since I've seen it. (not to be confused with the Mel Gibson film of the same name)
This was a let down for me too. The supermarket scene was great, so was his escape from the hospital. Otherwise meh. Until this glorious moment...

The Glimmer Man starts off really dark but then turns into a buddy buddy cop action flick. I only vaguely recall The Patriot, wasn't it a TV movie?
Straight to video/TV, yeah. I don't remember it all that well either, it does serve as a great example of Segal's "I don't fight" trope.
I still haven't been compelled enough to see it. I guess it's because it's a normal people with old people, and plus I hear it's really depressing.
I lost my eyeballs by ripping them out of my sockets out of pure boredom. Can anyone help me find them?
God help me with Nemesis. GOD HELP ME.
