The Dark Knight Returns - Parts 1&2, back to back.

10/10, Perfection. Christopher Drake's score is absolute bliss, and will be a shame if it never gets a release.

His Name Was Jason

10/10: Great documentary. Too bad they couldn't get interviews with Crispin Glover and Corey Feldman. That would've been dominant. I guess they're too famous now, lol.

Halloween II (1981)

9/10: A great sequel, almost as scary as the first one. As with Friday The 13th Part 2, I can't in good concience give a movie sequel a 10 out of 10, as they're almost by definition, inferior films. But anyone who gives Halloween II less than a 9/10 is a fool. Hey Rob Zombie! THIS is how you make a good horror movie!

Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later

6.5/10: Not as good of a sequel as Part 2, but better than Parts 3 through 6 though. They tried to take a similar, minimalistic aproach that John Carpenter used in the first movie, but with a bigger budget and better effects. Unfortunately I found everything a little too predictable to be scary, which is why it only gets a 6.5.

I recommend that you return to it when you're older, it's pretty awesome.

I don't think it's that I too young of age, rather than the fact that I was born 17 years after the movie came out :)

The Odd Life of Timothy Green
It's odd, kinda nice, but odd

The Hobbit

Drive

(debating on Argo or Skyfall at the dollar theater for tonight).

Tombstone - I got sucked in watching it on cable last night. It's one of those I find very hard to pass up if I land on it.

2/5

Magic Mike (8.5/10): the hot bodies in this :hrt: lol. I was pleasently surprised a bit at the drama in it though, i thought it would just be stripper guys gone wild :oldrazz:. I was entertained.

Dragon Ball Evolution, i opened my mouth to my little nephew hes about 7 and loves DBZ about a live action film. I actually haven't seen it since they released early and Korea or wherever and it still stands as one of the worst cinematic experiences, the only good parts are with Emmy Rossum. I give it a 2/10.

That's generous that you gave it a 2/10. lol

John Carpenter's Halloween: Extended Edition (1978)

10/10: This is how a scary movie SHOULD be made. Lots of tension and suspense, and a GREAT payoff. Anyone who says Rob Zombie's film is superior has fried their brain on crack.

Even in circles of rabid Rob Zombie fans...I don't think I have ever encountered anyone who has even tried to make that claim. I'm sure they're out there though.

RZ's Halloween is really frustrating for me because I actually really dug the parts that were original to his film, a lot of the stuff with Loomis and young Michael and the mom. But then it remembers that it is supposed to be a remake and becomes very rote.

As a huge Rob Zombie fan, I didn't care for his remake. I recently caved in and watched his sequel and kind of hated it. The actress playing Laurie was doing some terrible overacting.

Seven Psychopaths. 10/10 Best movie of 2012.

On a side note, I hate that damned cover art for the blu ray. It just seems tonally wrong for the film.
