As the years have gone by, I really do believe that Reservoir Dogs is Tarantino's most popular film (for good reason too, it's excellent). Almost everyone I talk to states that this is their favorite (moreso than even Pulp Fiction, which is actually my #1 favorite).
I highly recommend that you watch Jackie Brown. It's Tarantino's most underrated film, but I love every second of it.
As far as I'm concerned, though, you can't go wrong with a Tarantino flick. I've never seen a bad one from him (I even love Death Proof, which seems to be his most unpopular movie).![]()
Funny you should say that, since for most people I talk to, it's Basterds, Django (because those two are his most recent, the latter especially also since it's his highest grossing film), or Pulp Fiction. I rarely hear them talk about Reservoir Dogs, with the exception of my 3rd Period teacher and another student in the class if I remember correctly. So I actually think it's pretty underrated.
I'm actually planning on watching Jackie Brown as part of a Tarantino marathon I'm going to do with my brother once he gets out of school (I already am since I'm going to graduate high school soon), so I'll definitely have my thoughts on that up soon.
And yeah, Tarantino is honestly probably the only director who can do no wrong in my eyes. All the others I like (Spielberg, Cameron, Coen Brothers, etc.), while their track records are really ace for the most part, have a few duds in there as well.
