World of Warcraft - Part 1

Haven't played WoW since its vanilla days and even then it was for a short time. Couldn't afford to pay $15 a month during my student years.

Guild Wars was my alternative and I loved it.

I hear that payment you can make with in-game gold

I'm still not. Maybe in a month or two I'll feel the urge. For now I have plenty of PS4 games with hours and hours of gameplay in them that isn't nearly as repetitive or grindy as WOW.

Rise of Azshara Patch 8.2 releases today.

I recently and very briefly, installed and booted up WOW. I was hoping there would be a spark there but I just could not find the interest and only logged in a handful of times and felt nothing. Fortunately I had so much gold from before I was able to just use that for my freebie month and then uninstalled it last week.

I've played since Vanilla but the last few expansions have ruined the gaming experience imo.
Not even the upcoming player housing is going to entice me to come back to that bloated
mess of a game, Blizzard can take their micro transactions and real money tokens and kick rocks.
