I do think Williams is a great actor. I also think a Batman movie can be taken seriously.

But for some reason I can't picture the two together.

Rodrigo90 is talking about the original Golden Age Clayface that was not super-powered but a normal serial killer that wore masks.

This is the original Clayface. But I say mix him up. Cause he only wore this costume. Makes him change masks and outfits. This would still keep with his transformation into different people,but in a symbolic sense. Robin Williams would be good for this role.

Definately. Basil Karlo is an actor and so he would have access to masks, costumes,special effects makeup etc. He could create his multiple killer appearance as he sees fit. Either wearing horror masks or lifelike masks. Normal clothes or theatrical clothes.

I think Robin Williams would be great as Clayface. But people would snide at the idea,claiming it would be too much like Mrs Doubtfire.

Same as the Ventriloquist. Remind people too much of his character out of One Hour Photo.

Richard Roxburgh would make a good Clayface though. Larry David as the Ventriloquist.

Robins visual look would be similar. His take on Wesker might be similar to the character out of OHP. His quietness and and meekness would add a factor too that.
