When you find a gifset on tumblr and can't tell whether or not it's real.

The writing in Twilight actually is that bad. Next question.

Given the tragedy that occurred on France, the stadium explosion seems a lot more scary and real now.

Horrible tragic incident. And a terrible irony it happened on Friday the 13th, too.

This whole scene may be scarier and more real as time goes on, unfortunately. Well, fortunately for the longevity of this film, and unfortunately for obvious reasons.

Humanity never fails to disappoint me.

^I dont get the use of that gif.

What Bane did in the stadium isn't even comparable to what just happened in France.

Well, obviously. The point we're making is terrorism, especially being done at big events where fans are gathered. Like a stadium.

In regards to the ISIS attack being similar to Bane's, I think it shows yet again what I've pointed out several times - Gotham City is the embodiment of all the atrocities that exist here in the real world, even moreso than Marvel's New York.

I would argue it's one of the top reasons for Batman's popularity. I only wish more writers would realize that and take advantage of it.

More, more stories, MOAR.
Ok so we've all been teenagers, maybe some of you still are, so, what is the most rebellious thing you have done?

Are you trying to get ideas, Sanchez?? :sly:

Who knows? I still have a few more years until I'm considered an adult so may as well make the most of it :mnm:

I watched Spider-man 2 in the house of my DC fundamentalist father. He almost disowned me for watching -- in his own words -- that heretical trash.

O_o

Please tell me you're joking.

Then tell him Geoff Johns wrote the Avengers.

:lmao: @ DC fundamentalist father. You must be literally the first generation to have that problem.

"Dad, I need to tell you something. I ... I think, I think I like Marvel comics."

"Noooooooo! I have no son!"

Anyone can be tempted to and does dabble on the domain of immorality. It can range from doing drugs, stealing from people and writing for Marvel comics.

i dont know if it would be considered rebellious but technically i threatened a teacher with violence in high school

we were in P.E(gym) and he was calling people out to find out who did what sports outside of his gym you had the usual football, running etc. it came to me and i told him the truth i was part of the school fencing club

to this his responce and i'll never forget this, " what fencing thats not a sport why dont you play a real mans sport such as rugby like "he named a few classmates" and me."

to this day i have no idea why i said it but i immediately snapped back " ok i'll get my fencing equipment and you get your rugby gear and we'll see who is walking with a limp afterwards"

the weeks detention was worth it for the look on his face :)

....

I think if Obama insists on bringing in the 100,000 or so Syrian refugees, I vote they all settle in Washington, DC and no where else. That's the only way I'd be good with allowing this Trojan Horse into our country.

You signed up just to say that?

LOL. No. I have plenty more to say.

Please, don't keep us waiting!

Too late.

that username made me laugh though

mother: "time for bed son"

son: "i don't want to"

mother: "if you don't go to bed the boogy man will come for you"

*son goes to his room, turns out the light, but plays with his toys on the floor*

son: "heh heh heh"

*suddenly he hears a noise in the closet*

*a shiver crawls down his spine*

*the words of his mother echo in his mind*

mother: "if you don't go to bed the boogy man will come for you"

"the boogy man will come"

"the boogy man"

*he walks cautiously over to the closet*

*throws open the door*

Boogy Man: "ifobamainsistsonbringingin100,000orsoSyrianrefugees"

son: AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!

*scary music, fade to black*

The Boogy Man talks about a Trojan Horse.

Someone should write a story about that.

Remembering a classic.

I think it's obvious Cottilard is going to be Neeson's daughter in a similar twist that he played in "Batman Begins". She will have a dual identity being this "Miranda Tate" character on the Wayne Enterprises board to get close to Bruce while also being associated with the League of Shadows along with Bane. Everyone knows that the writers have used old comic story runs for inspiration in the previous films and with Bane having been called upon to lead the League along with Talia when Bruce refused this is easy to assume. The League isn't just going to let what happened in "Batman Begins" with the defeat of Neeson's characer going unaddressed or unpunished. Bet on it.

While comic fans may see through it, regular audiences won't so it will not be that obvious to the rest of the movie-going public which also contributed to "The Dark Knight's" HUGE audience base.

Also Heath Ledger was a huge reason women attended "The Dark Knight". These films are cast not only on talent, but audience appeal to all "market" cross sections. Women love JGL as they did Heath and the rest of the cast appeals to many other audience cross sections beyond us comic fans.

I also just read this interesting theory on the IMDB boards that while crazy... would be a very interesting twist that I like:

"JGL could play a younger Ledger...and it doesn't state WHEN (JO)-hn Bla(KE)was working for Gordon...we already know that some of this film will take place in the past...maybe we will see Jokers life when he worked as a cop for Gordon?

To be honest, John Blake is literally the only two names you could use if you wanted to hide the word JOKE in the characters name of your young Heath Ledger looking actor.

And guess what, having a young Joker before he was the Joker wouldn't go against Nolan's word of NO JOKER in TDKR....

To be honest the more I think about it the more it makes sense. I mean we know there are scenes from the past in this film with a young Ra's, so why not a young Joker when he was a cop? It would certainly be an epic twist and would bring everything back around and link to TDK."

I love how that first paragraph is completely spot-on, then he starts getting cocky and completely trainwrecks. :lmao:

Going back to the old TIVO thread, I found this gem...

Guys, I'm crying watching this footage. CRYING.
The music, the new footage.
"Don't be shy."
It's all so perfect.
Nolan did it!!!
NOLAN ****ING DID IT!!!!!!!!!!
GOD DAMN IT, THIS IS THE MOVIE I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!! :hrt::hrt::hrt:

Rocketman is the definition of too much.

From the thread about the clock kid:

I don't see what the issue is? The family should have sued from jump street. Their kid was labeled a terrorist, arrested and hauled off to jail and questioned without their knowledge.

The school should be punished for a moment that kids gonna remember for the rest of his life. Only in America is the kid made out to be a bad person.

MURICA!

You obviously haven't been following the story, or chose to ignore it and just looking at the "racist" part of it. :whatever:

#ClockLivesMatter!

The wing nut ideas in that thread are just sad.

Does he think he's funny? It's impossible for him not to know how unfunny that act is.
